Understand that the photo shoot happened before SDCC. Motuxmen already said that HT signed a deal with Nike.
Signed a deal to do what? Have the logo?

This was before it was up for pre-order. Here it is at the con this weekend.Yes, there is.
Watch emarae's video here. Look at this post here.
I'm just saying, Hot Toys has already gone through this once before. If they didn't have a deal in place with Nike, they wouldn't put logos on the shoes to show at the con, if they already knew Nike wouldn't play ball.
Because their is no signed deal. Because Motuxmen.
Insider information so inside even NIKE doesn't know. I see now.
The only three people in the room when the deal was struck were phil knight, Howard Chan, and Motuxmen. Ssssssh it's still secret
Also to add the Pepsi logo.I for one am glad there's no Nike logo. It would probably add another $15 to an already overpriced figure.
If I recall though before the release of the first Marty the prototype wasn't ever shown with the Nike swish logo. Maybe the fact that the new figure has been shown with the logos a couple times means a deal is in the works.
Maybe because it's up for pre-order they can't sell us a product with the swoosh.
The figure was just shown with the Nike branding at SDCC. It hasn't been at Ani-Con for who knows what reason. I still think it could happen but who knows. They do have USA Today on the newspaper for Doc and Mattel on Marty's Hoverboard so maybe they are working with more companies.Doubtful. If the deal was underway (and not canned) why would they still not be able to display with the swooshes on the pending approval proto?
This won't ship with Nike branding.
