You can get angry all you want @vwadamv as some hobby companies just tease only with the hopes of getting more traffic and protentional customers to their buy their products, but in reality it's marketing ploy. I can name maybe a few hobby companies that love to screw up customers minds in hoping that it will release in the product line, but it never happened after much complaining and ******* to much of the collectors that are into it.

Just noticed Cailee Spaeny herself liked this post back when the figure was first showcased in early December.

【Alien: Romulus - 1/6th scale Rain Carradine Figure】

“This is Rain Carradine, last survivor of the Corbelan, signing off.”

As one of the space colonizers scavenging the Renaissance, Rain Carradine showcases a complex character facing the threat of the xenomorphs. One of the mind-blowing action sets takes place as she shuts off the gravity generator to halt the xenomorphs’ approach, leaving everyone in the theater jaw dropped even in zero gravity. Not only does this iconic scene elevate the tension in the plot, but it also gets everyone’s adrenaline pumped up.

Today, Hot Toys is excited to expand the Alien: Romulus collection with a new addition, Rain Carradine as a 1/6th scale collectible figure, following the introduction of the Scorched Xenomorph.

Skillfully crafted based on Cailee Spaeny’s portrayal of Rain Carradine, the figure features a newly developed head sculpt with separate rolling eyeballs in intricate details. Her outfit is faithfully recreated, including a grayish-green t-shirt, a white tank top, an arm sleeve on her left arm, a wristband, a watch, and a pair of dark gray pants paired with white and red sneakers. The figure also comes with her rifle, the necklace with the reset device for Andy, an opened version of the reset device and a chip. On top of everything, a Facehugger and a specially designed diorama figure base with xenomorph remains are available to make the iconic scene come to life.

Your new 1/6th scale collectibles of Alien: Romulus is set to make you feel like entering the Renaissance space station and fighting against the xenomorphs, side by side with Rain Carradine.

Genuinely surprised this made it! Probably can't cop with all the other spending I've done -- and space rapidly evaporating... -- but it'll be going on my wishlist for sure.

Copping. Was waiting for this moment!

Likeness needs some work and they gave her brown eyes for some damn when they should be greenish blue, but ah well. It’s Hot Toys we’re talking about.

Glad to see this go up but did they change the sculpt? Feel like it looked more like her at the event.

This looked just like her:

This looks like a nine-year old cosplaying as her. The head seems larger, the face rounder and more child-like and it sits lower on the neck…

Looks the same to me, maybe it’s the angle of the photo or the lens of the camera distorting it?

Cailee Spaeny’s distinct feature is having a baby face - she could probably still portray a young Ellie in TLOU even though I believe she’s mid 20s now IRL.

I agree, the promo pics impress me less than the prototype. Will be interesting to see how it looks at Secret Base.

Likeness needs work but def gonna order. Just happy hot toys doing figures from this movie
Yah that’s exactly how I feel about this.

Already have the Scorched Alien on PO and had been waiting for Rain. Planning on having her posed up in front of the alien looming behind her about to snatch her.

It’s the display I was planning to do with Ripley, but I don’t have a Big Chap lol. Looks like I’ll be getting that with Romulus representation!
