The open mouth is what ruins it mostly. Once I glued the mouth shut on mine, it looks a whole lot better. I am glad they made the effort to ensure the AW mouth stays shut. It looks great and I am looking forward to local retailers getting this in so I can add to my collection...

...i'm the last person to be happy about any HT alien to date or anything sculpted by Tsang
that alien's head is reshaped and modified (not by me). that was the only variant i agreed to get from HT until now.

I can definitely see the difference in those pics above, and, for my money, it's a step towards improvement for sure.

Screen accuracy is always open to debate, but I'm just shocked at how HT could conceivably release such an off-kilter sculpt. It had to be a deadline issue, because I simply can't believe they would willingly sign off on such a poor rendition.

Then again, I think of their Batman Returns Bruce Wayne and...hmm.

I guess it's easy when you re-release variants or "2.0" versions of existing products. I am very excited for this since I missed the first version. But it seems that all the HT releases lately have been reissues or new versions of the same or similar character. But yet they delay new product like Hulkbuster or don't release the PO for BVS Batmobile.
