If they did reboot the Marines,I hope they do, I missed them the first time, had never heard of Hot Toys back then.
I'd want Drake and Hudson for sure.

Since there was no NRD, I ordered now just in case it ends up being a lowish run exclusive (no real evidence supporting this, but it's such a weird release. . .).

Might be shipping sooner than we think. Probably why there's no NRD and flex payment option.

How do they articulate the jaw with the strands of flesh connecting it at the sides?

I'd love to have this, but...rubber. :panic:

I ordered this and it's my first HT Alien figure. I think the only reason I ordered was on the off chance they do a lot more with this line. I plan on getting Ripley, but if there aren't any further releases, no marines 2.0, I'll probably just turn around and sell this.

Didn't work very well with the first Big Chap. Those tendons tend to stretch... of course the Big Chap couldn't close his mouth -- we all called him Mr Ed because he looked a bit like a horse.

This one has that great toothy grin. Hope the mouth actually closes tightly this time.

Hmm. If they stretch it seems like a disaster waiting to happen.

Yep. Inevitably they will stretch out.

But I don't imagine people will use that tongue gimmick much. It didn't work that well, was too small, wasn't painted correctly and on Big Chap the entire tongue was put on upside-down. :lol I ended up gluing mine's mouth shut because the grin with the silver teeth looked much better.

I think I'd be more comfortable with a sixth scale statue in this case. It's not a figure I'd be confident bending the joints on.
