Well, I wish I had better news, but Paypal is in dispute with this, which can take up to 60 days...
No ability to take it up with the Credit Card company, since I used Paypal credit, lol.

On the other side, the idiots at TW have my order "On Hold - Has Pre-Orders" (WTF that means, who knows) with zero communication
to even indicate what they are doing / or that there is an issue with the Paypal payment, etc., I just now logged into my order page and saw that note.

I just wish I could erase my whole account with them so I could forget they ever existed.

Thanks, my total with DHL express shipping was $527. The figure itself was $450 at that point.

Perhaps the "Has Pre-Orders" is a meme? Like Haz Cheezeburger?

Do you have other preorders with them currently or have pre-ordered a bunch in the past with them?

The note sounds like them weighing the cost of blacklisting you or something.

I have no interest in this figure but have been following the thread out of curiosity regarding how it would be released as an overseas exclusive versus something that Sideshow would carry.
My only takeaway is that I have never ordered from Toys Wonderland but have come very close just based upon whatever I was looking for at certain points in time.
Now I know NEVER to order from them and to keep them on MY blacklist.
How foolish to earn so much bad will and potential lost business when it would have been so much easier to simply offer the folks on this thread refunds, cut their losses, and move on.
This is going to hurt them so much more in the long run than simply giving refunds to a few customers.

Yeah ive never POed anything from them and now I wont but Ive bought a few figures from them with no issues so its probably best to buy stuff they have in stock

they're generally safe for stuff that's already in stock and ready to ship, but pre-ordering especially limited stuff is a gamble

Yeah, I’ve never had issues with in-stock stuff. But I’ll never PO from them again, at best. The fact that I’m now having to dispute this charge with my bank for this figure because they think it’s fair to give me store credit vs a refund when they themselves are the reason I want a refund makes me apprehensive to use them at all anymore.

That said, my bank seemed to agree I’m in the right, I’m waiting for them to call me to request the email traffic but it appears I’ll get my $558 back.

Last night I saw one on eBay from a 100% seller for $505 shipped within the US so I jumped on it.

Absolutely, yes, astronomical price for a single figure. But in the world of $400 head sculpts and $1000 jokers, I was willing to do this for my fav Cap suit haha

And now, I’ll have him Monday

Shame that Justin's Collection promotes them so heavily, they definitely don't deserve to be.

I hope PayPal agrees with you. Tbh, and I’d love to be proven wrong because I’d probably buy another, but I also don’t think SS is gonna carry this one. Which makes this whole thing all the more frustrating. Now I know, if I’m willing to overpay, it won’t be with TW.

I would end up $1,000 deep in one figure and

I don’t blame you. Honestly I’d have waited more if my bank wasn’t as responsive (hope that doesn’t change lol) or if I just wasn’t tired of waiting lol but at this rate I’m also prepared to eat one on a loss if I end up getting both - more so if SS does indeed list it.

For you, man…the whole thing sucks. Hopefully you get your money back and can buy again. Not sure where you’re located but there was another US based for $535 shipped when I checked last night.
