I would assume that Moon Knight isn't as popular as this will be, so 500 more units feels more like it'll be a challenge. Probably not an Anakin challenge, but I doubt this thing sticks around long.

I've never done one of these queued releases, do I need to decide between the two versions ahead of time or do I get through some kind of line and then choose? Cause I'm fine with the standard if it means I'll have a better chance at getting one, but I'd go for the special edition if I get to choose.

Facebook is so weird man, quite a bit of people acting like the makeup look is the default look. And then you have people defending Hot Toys for not offering the makeup portrait, telling them it’s not needed. “It’s only in the movie for 1 second!” True, yes, but they still could’ve added it (ideally), especially cause it was featured heavily in the promo material.

But with INART Paul, people would clamor for the blue eyes to be included when that’s egregiously inaccurate and would get upset at others for defending the exclusion of the blue eyes?

Lol, just funny to me to see how attitudes range between both companies.

To be fair that is the look he had on the posters, and it is cooler. Even though he only had it in one scene I think people have the marketing ingrained in their mind.

I personally wished the MCU had given Winter Soldier the eye mask like in the comics. I think that would have been a better look instead of the eye make up.

Yeah, I get it was featured heavily in the promo material, poster, TV spots, etc. I guess it’s like a Mandela Effect they’re experiencing. Or, cause they’re so used to seeing the Hot Toys 1.0 that they’re accustomed to seeing the makeup look more so.

I personally wish they had included it too, but it’s definitely the alternate look and not the default main look. Good thing that I don’t think it’d be a difficult mod to do for those who want that look.

I was just speaking to how there’s people who defend Hot Toys for anything they do but with INART, they get scrutinized for things that don’t even make sense to include lol.

But anyway, glad to see this getting ripped on FB. Looks like I’m not needed there for this release. Granted, I’d also comment on the proportions, tailoring, outfit, but most only care for the overall head-sculpt.

And I just gotta say, but INART would do a better job. Sorry, I can’t help but think that even if I’m just discussing a Hot Toys figure. Shoot me.

OMG they made his head too big I'm canceling my order

I for one am very glad they left the make-up off. I too had it ingrained in my mind that it was far more prominently featured in the film, until I rewatched it recently and realized off is the way to go if there's only going to be one head.

Thinking about it the 90 degree arm is kind of pointless. You can just bend the actual figure's arm to 90 and it essentially hides the joint. They should've given us one that goes past 45 degrees instead since I doubt the articulated arm can do that.

I think the major reason why they should’ve included the makeup look (and long rifle) is cause of the posters where you see Winter Soldier with Stealth Suit Cap “together”.

The non-makeup look doesn’t even pair with Stealth Suit Cap either, which begs the question, are they going to make Steve and Nat in their civilian clothes? They’re the only looks for the characters that pair with this current Winter Soldier figure.

YEP, the make up was only there on the posters, was supposed to have one more scene in the movie but that got cut. It ended up having a total screen time of 4 seconds in the movie. So I'm really confused by everyone making such a big fuss about it
