Yes! Was hoping to see this. I got my waitlist conversation for the she-hulk version but I'll take this one in a heartbeat might still get the Yellow and red one as a tribute to the character but otherwise I prefer this look. Hope we get Punisher and Bullseye.

As much as I love Cox’s Daredevil, this will probably be a pass for me. I can’t get behind owning figures from source material that I probably won’t be into. I know I’m being a Debbie downer, but it’s just a me thing lol. I’d rather have a new Netflix version.

I'm still not totally sold on the new suit, but the fact it's Cox returning to the role after 7 years really makes me want to have this anyway. Plus I suspect like with many superhero figures, the suit will look much better in 1/6 form.

I notice they do things like this all the time. No DD on his costume, or Punisher wearing the skull as little as possible. Like they’re ashamed to show off their symbol or something.

Welp after watching the opening episodes I can 100% say I'm in on this one. We're definitely back, show feels really good and compelling. I'm excited for next week already.

I notice they do things like this all the time. No DD on his costume, or Punisher wearing the skull as little as possible. Like they’re ashamed to show off their symbol or something.

There’s actually a degree of truth in this- especially regarding Punisher- but the shame comes from the creatives.

His skull symbol has frequently been adopted by the US military and more recently the police force in response to movements like defund the police, antifa, BLM etc.

Naturally this resulted in it being deemed a symbol of hate, fascism, corrupt misuse of power, justification for police brutality, and all the other isms.

I mostly see it on gym gear coz skulls are striking and cool and wearing it makes you feel badass.

This negative perception of Punisher simply isn’t compatible with the prevailing ideology at Disney. Will they want to glorify what they perceive as the poster boy of their political enemies?
I look forward to finally seeing him go to therapy and cry about his woes so his healing journey as a vegan pacifist can begin in Born Again…

Regarding the DD figure, I considered selling my Netflix HT off when Born Again was confirmed but, I saw a leak of the costume and thought it’s a little too bright for me, and I simply can’t trust that Disney won’t botch this. I love the Netflix show, and that iteration of the character- even though the figure is lacking- deserves to remain in my display.
