People keep spreading this onto every thread, and discussing it like it's some confirmed fact? Posted this a while back...

Are you sure this isn't just self obsessed, no-sense-of-humor fans, speculating, projecting and spreading their own over-sensitive delusional crap, onto Howard and the HT crew.
Does anyone on this forum who keeps spreading this, ever have an actual quote, interview soundbite, link, reference from Howard, confirming they were in the slightest bothered by this?

It's fascinating to watch total falsehoods like this be birthed on an Internet forum like this one. Reminds me of the Transformers "Porsche doesn't like war toys" ******** that has been spread around for decades now here and other toy forums ad naseum, yet so many people believe such nonsense to be fact.

I can guarantee that Howard has far more important things to do (like run a multi-million dollar global corporation) than stay up at night because Ford destroyed one of his dolls on late night TV.

It’s this photo of the prototype that was taken at a con shortly after Mando Luke was announced with some photoshop work courtesy of yours truly to try to ditch that deepfake hair piece

The sculpt is extremely strong. Easily the best Luke we’ve ever gotten from HT if it survives production, but that hair is way too close a match to that half-assed wig from the S2 finale.

It was advertised by Hot Toys in the Bespin Luke video, which uses the same Mando Luke head sculpt.

This is so much better not only than the prototype, but the ROTJ version too. They improved the likeness and the hair, and got rid of the fat suit. Glad this will have been worth the wait in the long run.

Looks nothing like what he looked like in that episode… which is a massive bonus. Well done Hot Toys for actually making it look like Mark Hamill. Now go and re-use the same headsculpt for a ROTJ re-release. Third time lucky.
