Yeah, not sure what the "Im only gonna display this with hood up" people are thinking - this, like all HT black hooded robes, will stain the sides of the face and neck.

Does the hood need to touch the sides of the face and neck, or only the hair?

I would say it would be almost impossible to pose the figure - especially in a head-turned action pose - without some neck contact.

There are probably some more neutral head positions where you could tease it away from the sides of the face - that's what I did with my Emperor figure, though he's okay standing with head pretty straight. This Luke is a more action guy with more sharp head turns and tilts.

My Sith Anakin has been hooded since 2018 and i dont see any staining issue at all.

Like others was hoping it came with R2 to complete the full "rescue" scene.

Hopefully they are working on a crumbled Darktrooper base.
Or because he'll come with an as yet revealed R2 with secret compartment to hide Grogu.
From the unsubstantiated hypothetical flashback scene of how R2 saved Grogu from the Youngling massacre.

Now I wish that second part was actually true!

Looks amazing! Definite pre-order for me but I'll happily take the standard version to save a little as I don't need the Dark Trooper bust or hologram. Bit gutted there's no R2-D2 2-Pack but since they've teased him hopefully the little guy isn't too far behind.

I really like the headsculpt actually. It is somewhat faithful to the cgi Luke from the episode but at the same time looks slightly better, IMO. I’ll get this so my Jedi Luke can return to my Jabbas palace area…in 2023

I feel like you can’t not get this, even though I wasn’t the biggest fan of Luke turning up I can’t deny it was such a pivotal moment in the show.

It was neat seeing Luke have a go at some canon fodder but I'll always prefer the more nuanced albeit low-key take on the character we got in TLJ. But I'm glad folk got their release in terms of Luke doing badass force/lightsaber stuff and I'm happy I can enjoy both.

Figure looks good and the accessories are ace but I'm not exactly jumping to PO it. Seeing a bit a Lundgren in him.

I honestly cannot believe they went with a deepfake CG portrait. Hot Toys eagerly chose realism over accuracy for Clone Wars, why not here?

We’ll see what the production photos are like. I’ll wait on this one.
