Personally enjoying the reveals, but overwhelmed by the amount of figures. It’s actually making it easier for me to pass on most them and keep my Mando shelf to just a couple of versions. Space and budget going to filling out my LOTR collection.

It has been..a lot of Mando and right now for me, having Boba, Bo, Mando and now Luke are good enough for me I think. Cobb and IG-11 are maybe's for me right now.

Who knows how many seasons the show will get, along with the PT/OT/TCW releases I want, we have Bad Batch going on now, then we have Kenobi and Cassian next year, along with Ahsoka probably the year after that.

Need to be selective lol.

You mean like they pulled with ROTJ Luke? Released the regular then pulled a deluxe out of their arse? Yeah I’m still salty over that.

Yep, this is exactly where I am on this. Nice CGI sculpt, but was the CGI good and like Luke in the first place ?? Not really to my eyes.

Anyway I think I'll also keep my ROTJ and Deluxe Luke and maybe dye the brown cape, or get a custom.

No doubt there will be more Lukes coming be it if he turns up in Book of Boba, or Ahsoka or gets his own show. That Farook guy will make it possible and look way better !

Yeah the trooper accessory is cool.

Would have been nice if the crushed torso could be swapped out with a standard Dark trooper figure, so he could stand there as a full crushed torso trooper and not with some pole.

Now people are actually crying why did they miss that fanstatic ANH Deluxe R2D2, not that cheap TFA one. But im sure Hot Toys will not miss this opportunity to re-release him eventually.

First impression: that cloak looks awfully stain-ey.

Yeah, not sure what the "Im only gonna display this with hood up" people are thinking - this, like all HT black hooded robes, will stain the sides of the face and neck.

I think the old sculpt looks more like Mark. New sculpt looks more "accurate" to Mando, which looks more like the double. Though, I'd be curious to see the sculpt with better hair, would probably look way better.

Honestly surprised they didn't do a wired cloak considering all the customs out there. Looks cool though, will be curious to see production pics.

Wish the Dark Trooper was more like the battle droid parts that came with Ep3 Obi-Wan, or just a special base. The floating torso is strange imo.

Is it wrong the parts I want most from this are the gloved grip and dark trooper? lol

Yeah to me seems about equal likeness wise vs the ROTJ one (though I do prefer the closed mouth) but it's a gorgeously painted sculpt, looks to be an improvement on the ROTJ version's apps, which were already pretty stellar.

But it is funny how they were able to perfectly capture that slightly weird "CGI look" Mando Luke had - like Mark Hamill, but MH as seen through a video game.

Not a huge fan of the hair though - it's accurate to Mando but it just looked slightly odd in the show. Sort of early Rob Lowe.

Oh for sure. Why release a 2 pack when you can release a Luke for $300 and an R2 for another $250.

I can beat TheDucky to the punch and predict Hot Toys will release a Mando R2D2 !!! You heard it here first !!
