Taking a closer look, the arms seem to be new sculpts.
Also, i hadn't noticed it says

Alien 4
Alein (sic) new warrior H(...)

There is no Alien 4... only Alien:Resurrection, and that sure ain't no AlienRes xeno...

The entire torso and legs seem to be the same old "Big Chap" sculpt, so all they did was sculpt new arms, feet and the head. Oh, and the silly green blood splatters.
And, in case anybody is wondering, no the torso of the Aliens xenos wasn't the same as the Giger design. There were plenty of subtle changes, including more ribs and a completely different neck. Also, the legs of HT's Big Chap were very inaccurate, so, either way, those legs are wrong for the Aliens warrior.

So given Hot Toys's track record with (lack of) accuracy for Aliens, it is entirely feasible that this is the new Aliens Warrior that we are getting, which is just as innacurate as the last one they gave us (and potentially as fragile)

Hicks is my toy buying horror story. I had him preordered but cancelled because I thought that $90 was too much to spend on a figure.

I just wish they'd give up and use NECA's sculpts... but no, they have to give this to Tsang...

Why did my thread get closed? Something sinister happening here?

I mean when an HT Facebook post says "Alien Warrior coming soon" I would think this section in the forum would be very excited. It used to be in the old days. Now its just nasty and cynical.

I guess we're over having mediocre, rubbery Aliens from HT. NECA's killing it with their brand-new Alien Warrior ~1/4 sculpt and they'll charge less than half of what this will go for. That and HT's reuse with this line is beyond frustrating. Every time we get a new Cap, Tony Stark, Hawkeye, or Black Widow, they give us a new headsculpt. They give us new costumes. Yet with Aliens and Predators, they're still using parts they made nearly a decade ago. For the price they charge, it'd be nice for them to care more.

Yeah seems like that way,all new sculpts except the body,typical HT recycle management 'save cost'.

I have to agree with Blade.

If you're looking for excitement regarding aliens, just take a look at the NECA thread. True, they are two very different types of collectibles, but it is very telling when the "cheap" figures garner much more praise and excitement than the "high-end" collectibles.
Hot Toys has no clue on how to sculpt an alien, and they just don't care.
And, amazingly enough, being the Alien nerd that I am, I have zero interest in this "Alein 4" announcement.

If, by some miracle, HT actually sculpts an accurate figure, I'll be first in line to buy it, but for now, meh.

I am for one excited and looking forward to anything Alien! And even though HT isn't always totally movie accurate they wouldn't release a Kyle Reese looking like this in 2016 ;-)

Yep, but getting them to release a Kyle Reese at all is something of a problem. So I'll take NECA's one
