Looking at that pic I feel certainty about 3 things...

Sculpt is great!
Sculpted hair is a problem for sure.
I'm getting it.

But it only makes sense... Alien day show cased Black widow from Civil War right??..
So Civil War comes out this Friday and Ripley is gonna steal some of her thunder back naturally.

I still think that the jumpsuit material looks slightly cheap compared to the prototype. I'm not 100% sure until I see proper pictures. Hopefully, we get some sort of update from HT.

This is the greatest thread ever.

I still think that the jumpsuit material looks slightly cheap compared to the prototype. I'm not 100% sure until I see proper pictures. Hopefully, we get some sort of update from HT.

This is pure speculation but HT probably did the math and figured this will likely sell reasonably well in North America and Europe but will warm shelves in Asia. It'd sell well enough not to abandon the project altogether but Howard's going to make Ripley on the cheap.

Im thinking about making some Alien offerings. Ive put together some West projects that have turned out pretty great and ive been thinking of other projects to work on. I got a great sculptor and a decent tailor that work with me. The sets would be sculpts and at least the white crew uniforms, POSSIBLY jackets, but it all depends on how many i get interested.

Let me know if you're going forward with this. It definitely SHOULD happen!

I am ! Ill post in the Interest section in a few weeks. I already talked to the sculptor and the tailor and they up for it! It will be the sculpt and White uniform set. Possibly jacket. Im just winding down 2 projects and ill post the info!

Im glad to see that the figure didnt get scrapped but what the heck happened? The preview back in 2014 was more than fine enough in my opinion. The change to sculpted hair can be a positive since rooted can get really messy to deal with, but the new sculpt went from real life to Alien Isolation accurate.
