nope, this thread is like all hate from all threads gathered into one

I don't think its all hate, with that said we have had to all deal with 3 different changes to the Sculpt. I think that starts to wear on everyone.

I see a pretty good resemblance. Dead on? Perhaps no. But you can't make everyone happy.

Ripley is definitely happy there. very dirty happy. holding a giant tube weapon in her hands. alien's in trouble.

Then I must be blind. Maybe if the face were less square and more rectangular -- and the eyes tweaked. It just feels inescapably off to me. Other folks I've shown this to (ages ranging from 20s to 60s) don't see Weaver in the sculpt unless I tell them who it's supposed to be. As other members have said, that's not good enough for this character.

This would've (and should've) been a day one preorder, yet I still haven't pulled the trigger and likely won't until a new sculpt is confirmed. In its current state, it's a surprisingly easy pass. Ripley, the hero of my favorite film franchise since age nine, is an easy pass. Bloody tragic.

Not to come across as entitled or anything. HT can do as they please and my wallet will simply be catching a break.
