On the 23rd July it will officially be the 3 Year Anniversary of this thread.
May i suggest a TAKE THE PISS OUT OF HOT TOYS DAY to begin on the 23rd.
A day to let out your frustrations .

Maybe Sigourney changed her mind and told HT she didn't want them to use her likeness after all after seeing what it looked like, and now they're working on a Gina Davis sculpt to put on it like the old days of HT lol.

Even people on Facebook are giving up on Ripley. Each "eff you" from Hot Toys get less "where's Ripley" replies than the last.

Plan is working than HT? you shower of c-words.
Maybe next year. Or the year after. Or when we're all dead.

Any hopes of improved figure or improved cat makes the world laugh.

My guess is, HT cheap'd out even more and cut back on items to maximize margin. Watch won't be painted. Ripley won't have t-shirt. They already cut the extra work for rooted hair. Be lucky if most of the correct patches are there.

This figure just won't be worth $200+


On the plus side, if the ever do release her, I'm pretty confident I'll be able to pick this up 6-9 months later for $160.

So new reveils today with a rehash armoured batman. Still no sign of their last figure from the June line up. Absolute disgrace.

Feels like they're releasing everything under the sun but this. Kinda has me worried on the production HS I hope it's like the prototype. Feels like we'd see another 1/6 Batmobile before this finally shows up literally everything out before Ripley.

What I don't get is, why the delay? Clearly there is a very strong interest in the figure (just look at all the views and posts on this thread). It's brought up in almost every FB post they make (the obligatory "Where's Ripley?").....what's the freaking deal here?

Maybe not as many figures sold as you may think, maybe the people complaining are just loud.
