Well, it's true, he's a much better figure. They ****ing nailed his likeness in one damn attempt while Ripley here has been identified as about 10 different actresses.

Not doubt a very strong resemblance to the actor, but he's dancing the babushka holding large coins. Ripley's got a flame thrower and a cat.

yep, i specifically went to google to check the likeness issue and saw exactly what you meant. it's true.

There are movies that came out after 1991 and some of them are pretty good

most movies after 1991 are much better than movies before 1991.
but not when they lack characters, events and motivation, like marvel movies
they are like Michael Bay + Uwe Boll offspring.

I watch and enjoy the Marvel movies, I have a few Superhero figures myself. I question whether anyone will be talking about Suicide Squad or Doctor Strange almost 40 years from now as they do Alien but I enjoy them nevertheless*. By all means make figures from them.

But don't show off a Ripley figure, sit on it for 3 ****ing years, finally indicate her imminent release via one of those group shot posters - and then release 2 entirely different figures ahead of her. Deadshot and now seemingly Dr Strange. Y'know? Stop ****ing around with the fans that were supporting you in the early years, before the MCU was even a thing.

I love Marvel movies too. I have quite a few Marvel figures, but it's getting ridiculous. Robert Downey Jr. is done after Infinity Wars. I hope that means Iron Man bites the big one. There's always a little increased interest as Hot Toys nears that next hundredth level, but for CRYING OUT LOUD, not for the same character!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
