Cool. Just to be clear: I certainly didn't intend my comment as a personal insult. I'm just shocked at how badly the HT Big Crap came out, and hope for a much improved re-release in future. But hey, if it works for you, all good.

Great photos BTW, and I love the Ripley suit.

I agree. However, at that time the movie prop is very coarse making. Somewhat correction can not be helped.

I won't miss all the uncertainty and waiting.. after all, it'll be over 17 months
from the time I preordered Ripley (May 10, 2016) until I get her next Monday,
(Delivery date according to tracking info) but at least we all had a place to
complain about how long it was taking to get her.

I expect that this particular chat thread will die down after everyone's gotten
their Ripley and posted pics.. and this is the fun part, after the seemingly endless
wait- sharing Ripley photos in here.

And then, it is on to the next preorder.. and the next.. such is the way of being
a collector.

Playing around with my Ripley and comparing her to my BD Murphy DX T800 Sweeney Todd....her head sculpt is soft. Makes me think if she was done five to seven years ago we would have had a better HD. She is police shoot out rather than Tech Noir

Anyone else having trouble loosing the strap on the flamethrower? Mine feels like the buckle is going to break when I pull on it.

Be careful folks with all my handling of this figure a button fell off! It's around maybe even in her overalls. Just make sure you keep an eye on them.....

i wonder why HT stopped making waist holders instead of those groin grabbers. they don't fit any figure - too small for male or monster/robot figures and absolutely ugly for female figures.
