Yeah good ole rubbery folds.

It does seem like we as collectors often have to choose between two unpalatable options when it comes to Hot Toys takes on Spider-Man
either we have rubbery and harder to pose suits
or we have semi-clothlike suits with ugly stitching on the heads/faces.... and also often have issues with posing.

I like that this figure has a wholly plastic head to avoid the hideous stitching issues on the Tobey figure [among its other issues]

Laughs in Scarlet Spider.

Am I crazy for thinking about making this figure my "one and done" Spider-Man?
I know its not his classic red and blue and white look and the design is from a comic where he is Dr Ock, but this is SUCH a cool design and figure.

Not crazy at all. I've thought for a while that this is one of the coolest Spidey motif in history - only reason I haven't purchased it myself is that I hate the cumbersome apparatus on the back even though I think it's comic and game accurate. Well, that and...I have enough Spidey figures to wage a Spider-Wars :sneaky:

Wish we could actually keep this guy posed without the suit being damaged. Keeps me from picking this up.
I mean I'd say pose it for when you need to then put it back to neutral. That's how I'm treating pretty much all of them. Then again I say that but the Black Suit & MKIV Spider-Armor have been posed for pretty much going on 2 days now all cause I've been lazy to take them down. Then I put Miles up just last last night.

Fun fact, it was heavily inspired by a concept from Alex Ross.
