Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Avenger: AoU - Maria Hill Collectible Figure
I'm hoping this Maria Hill figure means there's now a real chance we'll get to see Agent Carter or Pepper. I may pick up Hill if the price is right--I loved her in The Winter Soldier. I didn't bother with Fury or Coulson but I do like female figures.
That photo is worrisome to me for one reason--Scarlet Witch's head looks too big in it. I was hoping they had fixed that. If she still has the melon head at SDCC I might skip this release and wait for her Civil War figure, assuming she gets one.
As for Quicksilver, I agree with the consensus that the X-Men DoFP version of the character was cooler. For me though that's partly down to the actors--ever since Kick-Ass, where a young Chloe Moretz stole the movie out from under him, I've thought Aaron Taylor-Johnson was a charisma-free zone.
Another thing--this Maria Hill means all of us who are praying for a Michelle Pfeiffer Catwoman have real reason to hope once again.
