I'm still tempted for this. Never really expected him to play a big role in the film (what with Zemo being included and the "civil war" being the main conflict) but what little he had I thought was pretty good. His role is actually very similar to
Nitro in the Civil War comic, right down to being the bad guy blowing up in the prologue to set up key events of the story.

I just wish he comes with more stuff since he was a lot more decked out before his main scene.

I hope this figure comes with

That bomb he stuck on Caps shield. HT could even put a magnet in it so it actually sticks.

Not sure if spoilers are okay yet, so just in case.

He served his purpose well imo. He was Nitro for all intents and purposes. Simply the straw that broke the camels back. Had he been in it longer, we're looking at a 3 hour movie plus another character who's story would need to be sprinkled in and somehow tied in to make it relevant to the overarching theme of the movie.

I liked how CW incorporated a villain predominantly in the shadows and gave us a movie that was truly about tearing the Avengers apart, and not about fighting a common enemy in the end. We can have that once Infinity War hits.

The Avengers need a villain who is either extremely smart with a singular focus or a villain who is simply more powerful than them, preferably a combination of both. Crossbones is neither of those.

I also liked him in the movie, but his role reminded me both of Batroc from Winter Soldier and Nitro from the comic. Bummed he didn't survive, because he was a cool, bad-*** who could hold his own against Cap. . .for awhile :lol Similar to the comics, really. But oh, well. I also wouldn't buy a figure of a guy who only lasts a few minutes, and isn't going to be seen again.

Saw the movie and I gotta say, if this figure comes with
a gas mask as shown when he was 1st introduced
then I will totally get it. Looked so bad ***.

Hey does anyone think will see a face sculpt? It kinda looks like it. I'm screwed if he does lol

Other people who get it! :hi5:

I'll admit, I think this is the biggest factor for me as to whether or not I'll be getting this. Hopefully he'll come with his full gear.

The gadgets would make Crossbones a cool figure. But I'd be rather perturbed if HT made him, and not Colossus from the Deadpool flick.

Yeah but they have a lot more trouble doing anything X-Men/Deadpool related because of all the licencing issues. They're doing Deadpool, but they don't need the actor's likeness for that, to make Colossus they would need that.

I thought Crossbones actually looked pretty sick without the gauntlets in that shot of him on that newspaper in the beginning. I might have to display him that way.

It's a shame his character was short lived in the film. He looked really cool, and I liked a lot of his lines.
