In the film, Cap rips his helmet off and you see his deformed face. Maybe it is removable.

I may buy a 2nd one of these just to cut the sleeves off and make a somewhat more comic accurate Crossbones with a big *** gun.

I'm contemplating a mod using the HT Dutch body and replacing the jacket he's wearing under all his armor with just a black short sleeve t-shirt. But this would just be an optional setup - I can't see myself buying a complete 2nd figure unless I get one helluva deal.

Okay yeah I'm kinda having second thoughts on buying a second figure but if anything, I can always just buy the parts I need.

I'm sold too but regardless of the film. HT just doesn't make enough villains so I pretty much buy them all. I'm really excited to see the full reveal and get a sense of the weapons he brings and also more about the headsculpt(s).

Agreed.....still uncertain about the stuff around the hands but we will find out soon enough how cool they are

I like the figure which is why I hope they do the character justice. I am use to Crossbones being a hulk of a man. Like Bane. He relies on physical skill, an expert marksman, master tactician, master of all sorts of weapons like knives, bows, and expert in martial arts and street fighting. Like an evil nightmare version of Captain America. In the film he just looks like a man with robotic enhancements. Almost like a ground-based Iron Man.
He also looks to be a pawn here. He can usually operate independently. And hope he isn't a one and done, and appears again.

I'm contemplating getting him as well. I thought Rumlow was a prick in TWS (not that he was supposed to be anything but ), but I really like Crossbones' outfit and the way the figure turned out.

Funnily enough, I thought the same way too, though that does make me all the more tempted for this figure.

Crossbones and Black Panther are at the top of my CW list since the rest are pretty much new versions of old figures. Absolutely love the way he looks in the movie and the figure to match. Agree that for whatever reason HT doesn't seem to make as many villains as they should.

I think so, just repainted. I just think the costume is better and face plates are a big plus. That and the promo version combined is way better than the AOU Cap imo
