Ah mkay, interesting. The only thing I know about God of Thunder is the whole God Butcher thing. Don't know what he's about exactly but he's there. And the whole younger and older Thor being there. Would you say the whole God Butcher thing is like how someone is murdering mystical people and books in Doctor Strange?

They are doing really well with the extras and effects, and I like the discs and Scarlet Witch effects too. It's easy enough to do the resin pieces if you want to make your own. I was going to do the same with the green discs but they included them anyway so no need. I'd like to make some of the other effects he uses in the movies but I won't be getting the figure sadly....

Oh my bad, I'm used to seeing SSC for Sideshow and SS for Suicide Squad

Thanks very much for the movie offer - it's OK tho, 'coz I also have "favored-save-for "dead periods" movie list in winter - the last Independence Day is on the list too - as WAS, frankly, Superman vs. Batman but I think LOL I'll put on the brakes there (but Warner Bro. shook up its DC management so it could be interesting going forward. For now I've got a tent set up in Marvel's camp. Anyway if were getting DC stuff it would be Sideshow's Wonder Woman PF).

Cool about the resin because I just like SW in CW when she spreads her arms out - stretching the fire/magic out to put Vision in his crater (temporarily). I'd like a resin piece to replicate that, more or less. Am I wrong to wonder if tiny LED lights could be imbedded??? Fiber optic?

Same with DS - just the trailer has me thinking for display - like in the trailer where that gold frame is hanging in the air. You're not getting DS? Well, I may slide off the fence after seeing the movie - but *sigh* maybe some folks can afford a full Marvel line-up w. variations but I just can't. DS may be so unique tho he gets the PO.

And.. pre-ordered with $72 of Reward Points from Spooktackular. Couldn't be bothered waiting for my Deadpool points to come through, which won't be until late December anyway, and only worth about $7..

That's 3 figures in the next 12 months after Deadpool I've paid a deposit on. After that it'll be a matter of waiting to see what Guardians 2 and Thor bring. The only other possibility I could see is if Stan Lee has a fantastic saving attached to him at Popcultcha come Xmas time (he would look good with Deadpool surveying the entire MCU collection)

This tailoring looks phenomenal like Loki's. HT has really done well with the wardrobe of this character.

Agreed. Tailoring is maybe the best I've seen. And the HS is dead on. Even if it was just an "ok" movie, the figure is a slam dunk.

Bonus that the movie is getting rave reviews.

I'll wait till Thurs/Friday until I've seen the film.

But maybe not too long after. I'm too much of a newbie to know, but seems like POs can and do sell out. But don't know if that's just for poly/PFs or not. But I guess HT does have a production limit on any fig, even if they don't share the numbers.

Some of the prices I see for sealed retired 1:6 are *insane*.
