If the suit can't handle that much of a bend in the arms i'll toss it in the trash and put the HS on a regular body with the dx clothes and pose him in those.
You can throw it in my trash... :)

Let us know how those elbows hold up. I'd be concerned...me, personally, I wouldn't risk that.

Really? It doesn't look like much of a bend there to me. For me the main concern is with the blue fabric and black rubber parts, which seem much more susceptible to creasing and stretching. The red material seems a lot tougher and more resilient.

Okay my man..whatever you say. I'm experience enough to know that these come with issues. I'm not looking for a perfect figure, I have over 40 hot toys. It's a Spider-Man figure and should be able to do dynamic poses without fear of tearing the suit. Imo I'm seeing more rips and creases than the usual figure made with this material..not just here, on facebook groups as well. I dont have it in hand yet so i cant give a real opinion til i do..glad to see you back. I absolutely do not want to get in a debate with you..lol

LMFAO.

Thoes elbows have the slightest bend. It would be absurd if it can't handle that. Considering the other guy who posed his with bent knee and that it returned to shape after a few days; I can't believe that.

Whenever BBTS gets their frigging Deluxe stock in I will put it to the test. I don't like to pose anything in a museum pose, so I'll be getting my use out of him.

Cancelled my Sideshow order the other day and grabbed one of the last from BBTS. It’s on the way. Never pre-ordering from Sideshow ever again.

Last June, when you preordered from Sideshow, I’m sure you saw the Summer 2018 release window, right? He’s releasing extra early in batches. Apparently not early enough for you though.
-The Impatience of Danny-Boy-
Danny-Boy crossed his arms aggressively. Pouting, he exclaimed in a high pitch voice, “No. I want it now! I’m taking my business elsewhere.” Arms still crossed, he marched off stage, stomping all the way. He was proud of his tantrum. But wait, no one cheered him. They didn’t even pity him. In fact, it appeared as if no one was paying any attention to him at all.
Alas, the only forum member who even noticed his post wrote a short story of how entitled little Danny-Boy felt.

Possible new MCU suit for spidey phase 4. All the other chars in those promos for the new parks have their MCU outfits.

No black bands, different web shooters, larger spider.

Keeping your SM in a dynamic pose

Kept it like this for several days:

Back to museum pose, note the knee 'slack':

3 days later, never touched it after pic above (worked slack out a bit 3 days earlier) :

:goodpost:

These kinds of posts are helpful. Thanks. So far all I have done is the unmasked museum pose holding his mask mimicking the promo picture of him near the train from the film. I haven't wanted to test the resilience of the costume around the joints. But post like this may encourage me to put him in poses I really would prefer.

With that said, about how many days was "several days"? It would be great to document more "experiments" with pictures like this and determine how long a pose can go and expect it to return back to shape? And/or how many times will it return to shape if the elasticity decreases over time?

Anyway... great post! I would love to see more like this.

little did danny boy know, hes still getting it from sideshow either way.....:impatient:

You learn something new everyday. It seems like Sideshow didn’t place the correct amount of orders. Still doesn’t make sense how others ordered at a later date and received their figure. oh well, was always going to move my business elsewhere.

Nah. I think it's a comic type Spiderman for the new coming attraction. Avengers Assemble ride or whatever it is.

Idk, all the other suits are movie accurate. Spidey shouldn’t be any different.

There is a rights issue with Spider-Man. Unless they pay Sony money they can’t use that design, so use a different but very similar one. Also, iron man is in the 43, caps in the AoU and Thor’s in the last films suit. I doubt it’s a new suit.

...And IF it IS used in a future Spider-Man film then Disney will not be able to use that design for their parks either without paying Sony (assuming we are right about how the licensing agreement works between the two entities).

But, even if licensing aspect isn't an issue, until the Homecoming squeal is actually filmed this at best is a concept which is subject to change and it would be way to early to see this as some sort of definitive design for the future movie; I don't think they are that far along in the process. With that said, I like it, and I won't complain if they end up going in this kind of direction.

EDIT: Unless the costume shows up at some point of Avengers 3 or 4.

I think it's the same MCU suit but with a larger emblem and different webshooters. You can still see the black bands on the costume there, it's just that they're in shadow.
