I'm always super opinion friendly, but I just don't get how people don't like the suit design. Looks so clean, modern, and sleek. What superhero costumes should aspire to be
Good luck with that. Both of the Hot Toys Garfield Spidey figures had big issues. I don't even think I'll be able to get rid of my ASM2 Spidey. It isn't terribly bad off, but the infamous black stripes are definitely there if you get too close.I got the older Tobey HT and I'm getting this, but now the pressure is on a bit to get a Garfield Spidey just to have a nice little "evolution" set up on the shelves.
What's all that black crap on his costume? And why the double web lines? They got the eyes right but the rest sucks. Thanks.
Spider-Man's costume needs no modernization at all.

Are 2 extra items of clothing and a helmet really worth an extra $20???
I agree with this in the sense that his classic costume is all he needs and a design that needs no improvement, but I do appreciate the MCU take on it and I'm happy to have it.
I sort of wish Hot Toys would drop doing these deluxe editions and just offer one figure with an exclusive like they used to. The Vulture helmet feels like something that would have been packaged as an exclusive in the past but now they want to charge more for it. Granted you get the extra clothes too but I wouldn't use them.
PO'd at BBTS in the event the movie doesn't do well
I prefer it this way. The people who want more stuff pay more instead of forcing everyone to pay more.
I suppose, but who would go out of their way to make this custom jacket or hoodie? Pretty lame exclusives imo. But. . . That Vulture helmet is pretty nifty. Would sit in the box forever, though.A custom jacket could cost between $20 to $100 from other companies in 1/6 Scale due to the difficulty of making the items so I think $20 for two AND a helmet is a bargain!
