You know, the bigger my collection grows, the less I am enamored of Old Han's HT clothing.
I mean, his parka looks fantastic, and everything waist level and below looks good (the level of detail in the belt alone is mind-blowing), but his shirt and pleather jacket are severely lacking when compared to what HT is capable of.
I think it mainly comes down to the way the collars of both shirt and jacket sit on the figure. I remember being less than impressed when I first unboxed him, but now, after seeing what HT achieved with all their other figures, that small detail just becomes that much more obvious.
It just sits too high, is too thick in stitchwork, and looks rather doll-ish. Then again, maybe for at least the height of where it sits, it might be just because of Ford's unique build and how the actual leather jacket sat on him, since even full size replica jackets haven't got it right from what I've seen.
But since his parka looks amazing, guess I can't complain!
