People complained about the first Chewie release beforehand too but it turned out to be not so bad in hand after a bit of futzing. I might just get the Han for now since this version is a one off whereas with Chewbacca I'm sure we'll see more versions of his older self down the line.

Yeah I'm tempted just to get han for now. The snowy stands for the double pack are an easy pass

Especially if you don't plan on displaying Han with his jacket.

Even if I was I wouldn't be bothered about the stand. But I think I would stick to the leather jacket anyway

looked bad in pics but amazing in hand.

This usually tends to be the case for a lot of figures, especially when people first start receiving them.

I I bought the TFA version because of colouring, both of the variations in the fur, bandolier and bowcaster. I think with the fur, the variation of colour is more striking
(And I kinda liked the bandage haha...Battle Damaged!!!)

If the figure is bandaged from battle damage, would that therefore make the figure battle bandaged?

Since we're waiting. I saw the ESB blue vs brown jacket thing come up a few times on the forum lately, and I assume everyone knows what the answer is by now, but this is from the amazing Star Wars Costumes book:

That book really is fantastic, especially if you are collecting the HT figures. Also, I only plan on getting Han from Ep. 7. I'll wait for a Chewbacca that has a face that looks like Chewbacca.

Dressing the Galaxy is also a great book on the prequel costumes. Hopefully they'll be something similar after sequel trilogy is completed.

Yeah, that book was finally an official confirmation what many of us already knew - that Han's Hoth coat appeared to be blue onscreen.

I just checked on Han Solo and see that he now went on waitlist. Glad I ordered when I did, but hope everybody who wanted him was able to put in their order.

In this case the coupon didn't help me at all considering I'd get hit with the California tax. The only thing I miss out on is RP.

HT/SSC use the "sold out" sign as a temporary place holder until batch #2 shows up.

Han, Chewy, Ben etc. - all sold out, all back in stock again.
