This looks pretty good. Better color than v1 Chewblacca.

Problem is, no picture is telling me what the actual 'in hand' color is. Could be too gold.

This. If that is a good representation of the in hand color I'll be a happy camper. Also the snout is alright there, not terrific but not horrible either.

It isn't finished, but I'd rather try than have a sub par Chewie. Clearly some people are getting better out of the box versions than others. I was simply showing that it is possible to reduce the area between the upper lip and the nose.

Hey Franck! You had the unfortunate bad luck to drop these pics in the midst of this Chewie firestorm, but wanted to highlight these shots for specific praise. Han looks like a terrific figure with a jaw dropping headsculpt, and your pics show that off brilliantly! Please keep 'em coming!

Man of Action already has Chewie in stock, must be coming soon elsewhere.

How did you do the muzzle mod anyway? I mean you took a little too much from it but it could be a fix. Hard to do?

I wonder if they're packing the truly awful Chewies in the 2-pack hoping the awesomeness of Han will distract from Chewie....

I'll try to see one of these in person as they seem pretty all over the place. The light fur still looks a little orangey for my taste.

Yeah, in pretty much every pic it does seem to have that Lorax orange color to the fur.

It also seems that the face looks better with the head tilted up/back a bit and the mouth slightly more open. Both things seem to pull the huge stache area proportionately smaller. Straight-on with mouth closed seems to fire the double barrel 'stache.

I like that you gave this a shot, FSHK - what you've shown in the Indy thread in the past means you have the skills to pull it off, so will be interested to see what you can do.

Also, I see an ANH Chewy in the background there - can you do a side-by-side pic?

Also, I see an ANH Chewy in the background there - can you do a side-by-side pic?

I did these pics before any customization efforts on TFA Chewie.

Here's to hoping that Hot Toys will do a correct - definite ESB Chewie. We just need one Chewie that is accurate, and I've seen some ANH Chewie's that look pretty damn good here.
