Just received my figure and an largely pretty happy. One thing I'm surprised there isn't more nitpicking over is that some of the paint wear seems a bit off model from how Boba looked in Jedi. Most notably to me is that, shouldn't there be a circular silver metal spot on the main dent of his crotch plate? Maybe other people are more familiar with the wear his armor should have. It still looks great as a whole though - very natural looking vs the Sideshow one that always looked kind of stiff to me (not to mention the poofy torso armor).

Took some simple outdoor shots, i wanted to show off all angles and detail.

Took me a while to futz him like i wanted. I wish the backpack had been magnetic. Love it though.

Thanks for the shots! I mean no disrespect to you or your shots but these pictures have a toyish quality to them (and a few others I saw yesterday). Only the Picts with the black background screamed high end man in suit to me. But then again to argue, yours are in natural light setting so it gives us a real in hand presence. Which takes me back to toyish. I only say this because I still have not decided. I have the SS which represents in my collection but wonder how much WOW Factor does HT bring in comparison

^^it does seem the figure is pretty susceptible to lens distortion. I see what you're seeing.

I have to say I'm no longer expecting to be wowed by the figure. He's a complex figure and he always looked a bit squat/beefy in the thighs. But I'm still happy to add him to the collection.

Well unfortunately with all the plastic sections it can't be helped. Still it impresses me in hand more than enough. I took off that belt like someone else did, just looked odd.

Thanks like I said I'm sitting on the fence with this figure. I don't want two Fetts so if I want HT I'll need to sell SS plus add another $100 on top. Will it WOW me after all that......that's the question. Right now I'm leaning towards keeping my SS

Just got an email back from SSC, they'll be replacing both feet for my figure. Really glad it turned out that way.

Yeah, what I think holds Fett figures back is how many layers the costume has (on the torso area, there's armor plates, the white vest, the neck protector sleeved in, then three different belts, two on top of each other.) There's so many things piled on each other so he ends up looking squat or a little chunky because you can't practically reduce fabric thickness to 1/6.

And in ref to what someone asked earlier, yeah 1/6 HT Fett's codpiece armor does seem to be (roughly, none of the weathering is all that screen accurate) based on the armor seen in the Magic of Myth type shows. The 1/4 Fett has a codpiece that is closer to how it appears onscreen in ROTJ. It is supposed to have a big silver dent as opposed to that dappled effect.

[QUOTEAn upgrade over SS in all regards but not something that has really blown me away for some reason.

Its this right here that has me on the fence

I'm sure somebody will apply a big brown stain down the back of his legs to replicate this scene:

Nothing to imply Fett was scared during that scene. Actually, all of Fett's lines addressed to Vader are said in a rather frank manner, implying that Fett isn't necessarily uncomfortable around Vader. Indeed, Vader's response, or lack of a violent response, to Fett's comments implies that Vader has some modicum of respect for Fett, or that he is at the very least useful to him.

Picking mine up today but won't be able to futz with him till Monday...picking Ant-Man up on Tuesday!
