Did anyone get a packout for this figure from Sideshow for the deluxe version or was it too big?

Pretty happy overall. Helmet looks alright from a certain angle. The gloves aren't detailed as they should be for the price. This is the first hot toy I've bought that I'm not entirely pleased with.

Great figure. Surprised that the armor parts were all rubber including knee pads. Looks great to me. Very pleased. Had to rearrange my set up but I think I'm happy with where I've got him.

Got him and love him buuuuut does anyone else have a visible wire in the front of the cape? I understand the cloak is supposed to be distressed but the metal wire on mine can be seen, I was wondering if this is just on mine or if that hole is on purpose.

But man, that SSC Kermit green - you wonder how that got so far off the mark, and even V2 seems to be along similar lines. ESB Fett's green is supposed to be almost a bluish grey mixed with a pale green.

Which helmet stand out to you more? Any regrets with selling SS?

I think the HT crushes the SS on fine detail. The visor also looks more real than the SS based on how it's painted or the material not sure which. No regrets selling the sideshow at all. I've actually gotten my money back plus more from parting it out. I've actually made money on it so I'm more than happy having this one over the old.

Thanks for posting that. I have the Sideshow V1, but it's completely disassembled, and I shipped out my helmet for custom molding.

Pretty apparent that the Sideshow was a half-hearted attempt. And tragic how Surfer's great paintwork was lost in translation.

Thanks for this, too. I've been meaning to take a few shots with my modified Medicom. It still holds its own, in my opinion. And despite the perfection of the TrueType body, the Medicom body still captures the essence of Boba Fett in a more accurate way, even if it's slightly undersized.
