Had the regular but was always a bit envious of the flying poses you guys can get with the deluxe. Got the jumptrooper today and decided to make use of the stand for Boba.



And a couple more outside the detolf.

I checked it out at ThinkGeek but the added taxes had me hesitating. Still a better deal than retail.

I looked at Taxes like shipping because anything over $75 ships free. Plus the free mug was nice. Not something I would have searched out or bought...but free is cool.

I just recently acquired this excellent figure, but some of the plates on his chest are extremely close and or overlapping others. Anyone else have that problem? Seems like some futzing is in order. You can see on the chest padding where it seems to have some wrinkles in it at the top of the armor plates.

Got my Deluxe on Sunday. Is it just me or is the neck really short or is there a trick I am not aware of?

Also whenever I click the 'action' clamp on him the backpack gets all pushed up! Any ideas?

It's been a few weeks since taking the ridiculous effort to get this guy's fat suit off, and I think I've decided I liked it better on. For some reason it makes his arms and neck look way too long to me with it off. So I'll probably be putting that back on soon. I also managed to rip the one tiny thread keeping one of the leg pouches shut so I need to go out and find the thinnest grey thread and tiniest needle I can.

There are times and angles where I look at him and feel like his helmet might be too big? I think it may be more noticeable in person, but I've seen the discussion here about the fat suit and was wondering if that was the problem. The pics of him on this specific page of the thread look great, like Bransen's. I don't know how to explain it, some pics of him here look perfect but those might be modded but anyways, here are some pics.

It may be the fat suit but the helmet, while finished/painted very realistically, does not have a very accurate sculpt and they didn't try to closely match the onscreen helmet paint, more just generic damage (whereas both the ESB and ROTJ helmet have very distinctive paint and damage that is a part of Fett's look.)

I thought about modding my helmet but it really was just too much work, and it besides really looks quite nice in its own way - just not that accurate.

At the end of the day, if the helmet wasn't so tall, and the elongated T in the t-visor didn't have this look because of that... this, and the SSC ESB Fett (looks like HT copied the general shape, obviously these artists work together / collaborate) could have gone a LOT farther. HT had the chance to fix that, but instead decided to go with the same look as the SSC ESB. In the end, we end up with two Fetts that look similar. I guess that's a bright side. Would've definitely made the HT version shine even with the weathering not being very accurate.
