I sanded down the lower eyelid, smoothed it back out with a couple drops of CA glue, sanded again. It was slow methodical work in such a small area. I think start to finish including assembling the figure was 2 hours. Then it was all layers of paint work after that.
When painting blood I use 4 colors all from Tamiya: Red, Clear Red, Clear Blue, Black. The clear blue is very good for subtle tinting of the red to various purples, and a drop of black will always get it that deep red if you need it. The Clear Red and Blue choices help keep it looking translucent when applied.
