well, if you want only one avpator, you can just buy celtic and be happy with him, because scar doesn't add anything, and tylerdurdem will make a scar helmet one day.

i wish i did the same.

You have it too? I'm definitely not getting Scar (ADI's face design is ridiculous), but what saves Celtic, at least for me, is that its face is never shown. And I don't care about Hot Toys' sculpt, because it's just placeholder. Will always keep it masked, just like Tracker and Falconer.

However, I'm worried that if I get this, Scar and Ancient might sneak themselves in there. Kind of like how Falconer did, when I only wanted Berserker and Tracker at first... Shieet.

Advice? Review? What made you get it?

hot toys avp face is actually nice, it's freaky and angry instead of dumb and ********. well, it's still ********, but in manic style. face was the main thing i bought scar.
when celtic was made, i wished i got him instead. he is identical to scar except for unique gauntlet, different forehead paint and helmet. plus a nice base. plus a detachable part of chest armor, turning it into parody on P1's chest armor, like in the movie.
rodrigators were very different in design while all avpators are absolutely the same, plus the trio is not finished. if you need it to fill a void and aren't a fan of avp, just get celtic. it features everything scar does (while shouldn't) plus additional perks.

they all basically have interchangeable designs besides the masks

I like to think of it like the preds in predators are mercenaries, they all have they're own style and hunt with custom weaponry and the preds in avp are like the standard military and go in to battle with the same basic gear

That's a good price. Did you get him recently? If so, from where if I may? Cheapest I've found, granted it's on eBay and I've only just started looking, is $300. Feels like overprice.

no, I've had mine almost 2 years

it came back in stock very briefly at bbts and I was able to snag one

edit: my mistake, it was $260, I went and looked at my order history

Ordered today. As soon as he arrives I intend to make his bio's lenses silvery, like in the film.

Now, I know a few have done the same thing in the past. What I'm wondering is, is there an easy, noob-proof way of going about with the lens paintage? Like, what color/brand is best, and what tools to use?

If you've done it yourself in the past, could you post a pic of the result? Can't wait til he arrives.
