Big Bad Toy Store, just in case no one got back to you on it...
Thanks, no one had yet. :)

...How'd your inspection go?
I suspect it may have been repacked which still bothers me, but the figure looked really good and I tested all the lights and they all worked. The ankle joints seem a bit weak though, seems like he wanted to tip forward easy with his looser ankles when standing straight up without a stand. I am not sure if this is normal for the figure because of how heavy it is or a "defect".

I tried to call SS today but I couldn't get through. Not sure what I want them to do about it. At very least I wonder if they will send me a shipper if I let them know what happened? I keep all the boxes in them to keep them nice and in case I decide to sell them later.

Yeah, that's a weird one. Good luck in whatever you decide to do. At least the figure looks to be good :)

I usually just throw away the shipper box after receiving the figure. No need for it. Although i am keeping it for mk43 cuz the box opens vertically.

Yeah... I wouldn't be able to look at it knowing that there's a chance it might be Frankensteined together from good parts of different parted out figs.

SS is great at taking care of things that are broken, not working, etc but a missing shipper is something i doubt they would do anything about. I believe a box is a box to them. Still hope it works out for you.

:slap should have waited, I like the bulkier look...

Hmm, not enough of a design difference that I'd pick it up. The laser cannon looks kind of overly busy. Kinda wish they'd go back to the source Mark I and update that in an appealing way. I like Mark II but it's not differentiated enough from IM. I'd like the entire profile to be different so WM stands apart from IM more.

I got my War Machine yesterday and I have never received a figure from Sideshow like this before; it did not come in the typical shipper box but came in a box that was way too big for it...

Has sideshow ever sent anyone else a figure like this before? Makes me feel uncomfortable like something is fishy about it...

I also received the first diecast War Machine 2.0 like this with no shipper, although it wasn't sent in such a big shipping box like yours. When I inquired about it, SSC said they didn't have the Hot Toys shipper and there was nothing they could do.

It also took me an extra month to receive my pre-ordered War Machine after shipping me the wrong figure originally, but that's another story!

It's definitely an improvement from what I can see, bulkier which is what a WM is supposed to be. MKII looks good but is too streamlined like an IM armor is supposed to be. I'm glad I didn't buy this one and will wait on the MKIII.
