P and I go way back. I respect his insight to Terminator, Predator, etc. I just saw his opinion as constructive criticism.

Not too sure about the value vs. the price point but prices are just crazy nowadays anyways so...

his price is less than some HT figures that use no new engineering at all - just basic clothes, weapons and so on. well, at least it was less.
i still cannot understand why people were unhappy about the price of $250-270. the only reason i didn't get him was his height, and when i decided to deal with it, i already spent the refund on other figures.
i left it in my ebay saved searches - in case one appears for a small price or as an auction with a good starting price.

My first ever Hot Toys was the T-800 endo back in ~2007. It was $110 shipped and I thought DAMN, I've never spent this much money on one figure EVER! This guy is worth it (I guess). It's just now we are getting close to the $300.00 mark on most HT figures.
I think all Hot Toys are overpriced these days though...

i think the same... but when other companies appear with their product for same prices with definitely lower quality, it makes me turn back to HT.
though i don't even know what else i will buy from HT in future. looks like they don't want to fill the gaps they left and i need filled.

Actually a random question too, what happens when the lights on one of these figs burns out? Not the batteries, just the lighting mechanism itself. Is it replaceable? An endo without those haunting eyes is a soulless husk...

True. But I have seen some companies starting to give HT a run for there money. DAM! Blitzway, hell even the new Sideshow stuff revealed at SDCC this year is looking very promising. We'll see how it all pans out.

If something were to happen to the LED's I would think it's pretty much game over unless you are able to make the repair to it. Lighting and stuff like that isn't modular on these guys. But mine came with three extra arm pistons so there is that...

He brings up a good point though. Do we ever see an endoskeleton open its mouth on screen? Why would they need to? This thing would look so much better if someone would repaint those teeth.

I don't think the endo has ever opened it's mouth in the movies when just the skeleton but it makes sense that it could considering when he had Arnies flesh it talked. Would look weird if the lips moved but the teeth stayed shut.

About damn time. This will be my first endo. I'm still holding out hope for a remake of the T1 T-800 Endo, but mostly I just want 1984 Kyle Reese. It's the figure I've wanted most since the day I started collecting these.
