Awesome pics and looks great. Did you have to futz the hoses somehow to get them to sit below the collar bones, or were they already like that outta the box? Thanks.

Thanks man :hi5: the hoses are soft so you can just stick em under the piston and they stay put

Its not a DX base. DX base had a plate with holes. Genisys plate is flat as a cardboard. Cheap move Hot Toys !

yeah this is ridiculous. They could have just reused the DX13 base instead of this. A whole new level of cheapness HT. They would never do that with an Iron man release.

Not a hardcore IM collector myself, but just pointing out that HT have* done this before with IM figures. The center piece of the Tony Stark workshop base that lights up was included with several of the Hall of Armor suits as their bases, but just like what was done here, they removed all the LEDs, spring for the batteries, and I think even the switch. So it's not the first time HT have taken the cheap route

I got him today. Overall, he looks fairly well done, with tons of detailing and moving parts. He seems on the fragile side though (understandably so), so I got him into a pose and don't plan on really messing with him much more other than slight tweaks. The base is a disappointment. It's the LED base, but with all the guts taken out of it. I'm not a super fan, so I can't speak to the accurateness of the figure itself, but he looks cool.

the figure is nice but the size as has been stated before is way off. I'll have to take some pics to compare the original t-800 and this. This guy is easily a full head taller

Yep. It's what "pops" would look like without any skin as well. I'm not a huge fan of the re design. I don't hate it, but I don't particularly love it either.

I agree the assumption is there. My only point being that the Endos in the future war battle scene are the only ones who carried the BIG guns, and this one has that. Besides, I dont see what all the height complaints are about, his scale is just right:

Scale is right for that... but it doesn't make it look any less dumb. Is Pops even supposed to be that model? I didn't really pay attention the one time I watched it.

that skeleton stands on a pedestal :)
and yes it's the same model a good terminator shares, it's seen by his arm when it loses skin twice in the movie.

T-800 is finally here !
Cheap base stand sucks but T-800 is very impresive and intimidating. I like it a lot. Paint job is fantastic.
PS: T-800 is as tall as Sandor Clegane !

did you turn his shins to the inside or is it their supposed position according to HT engineers?
i mean those crosses below the knees should look forward, not at each other. and they did on promo photos.

You can rotate the shins. I forgot to set them up correctly.

PS: I replaced that cheap a.. fake dx base. Looks much better now.
