This may sound stupid, but does your TV need to be 3D capable? Just bought a 4K 65" Sony yesterday, but it isn't (are 3d TV's even being made now?) Or is it the VR headset that does all the work?

I have a PS4 Pro, BTW.

no... your tv is like a secondary screen for the vr. the vr is the main component for viewing. headset is all you need for 3d flicks.

Does the tv even have to be on to watch a 3D movie with the VR? Since you don't have to have a 3D tv?

They made a patch a month or two back that made the VR able to function with 3-D movies. I highly recommend you checking it out as it is spectacular! You have no ghosting or shadow images as you have two different video signals coming on each eye on different screens. It is super crisp and perfect! Not to mention you can adjust the size of the screen settings so you can have it filling up the entire field of vision or go even larger like you are in a giant IMAX! It's pretty unbelievable!

What patch is that?

Also, asking for a friend, of course, can this thing play VR porn?

pretty sure you don't need the tv on at all when using the headset

I just watched a 3D Bluray on the PSVR last night and when I turned my tv off the PSVR turned off also. So apparently you still need the tv on.

Watching The Desolation of Smaug in 3D was way more immersive on the PSVR vs my 55" 3D plasma, not just because the viewing size of the screen is now movie theater size, but the 3D was more intense. Only thing is, the picture quality wasn't as crisp, more pixelated, which I expected. Does anyone know if having a PS4 Pro improves the picture quality on watching movies on PSVR or is it simply a limitation of the PSVR headset itself. Sorry to derail the thread.

More on topic, I received my replacement endoskull from SSC for the missing neck pistons, but of course one of them arrived with a slight bend. They are super thin plastic pieces. Although they feel a little bendy, I'm afraid to attempt straightening it out in fear of breakage.

Maybe it's not a Endo based off Arnold and just one of the many used for infiltration.

Well that's not a bad after-the-fact rationalisation. But we all know that really - it's supposed to be Arnold's Endoskeleton. They just ****ed up.

an alternative gun position for those who don't like the intended one:

Well here it is with the old school gun. Pictures really dont do this thing justice (as the old cliche goes)
Have this and the quarter scale now and happy with both

I want this figure but I personally think this Endoskeleton really comes to life when the red eyes are lit up . That being so , for $250 Hot toys should have provided a remote control to activate the LED's . The fact that I have to reach into my detolf and risk knocking my figures down every time I want to turn the eyes on really sucks . I don't think I'm asking for much . What happens is I just never activate the eyes and the figure takes a major step backwards in terms of presence .

Well said. It is rather annoying to have to pop off the back of a figures head too. I feel like they could have come up with a better solution. Hell if even prefer a giant button on the endos back like their old endoskeletons. I might get one of these eventually, still undecided.
