To P. and any other Terminator connoisseurs out there, I want this to be the T-800 from T1 or T2 in my collection – I know the shoulder rotator cuffs are black, as the one in Genisys (ugh) was, but are there any other blatant differences? Any quick fixes or mods that can elevate this?
erm, it actually doesn't have any original part in it, except for the skull.

here you can see the model in finest details. and if you care for differences, you should already know what the classic skeleton looks like :)

from the guy who made 2014 ED-209, SCII siege tank and Michaelbay transporners humanoid redesign in Transformers 4, which explains why this new skeleton looks so silly and meaningless.

Yeah it's an almost total redesign. So there's no mod you can do to make it more like the T1 or T2 endos

As for the T-1000 there's only MMS129 so google that to know what you're looking for and what to expect in the box. I think there have been some cheap knock offs but I don't think these provided all the stuff you get with the official figure. Hot Toys also made T-1000 in Sarah Connor disguise but that's a Sarah Connor with rooted hair, they just called her the T-1000 based off the scene where he mimics her to try to fool John. That figure brought the Donut head so don't expect to find that in the MMS129 set.

Thanks for the replies, brothers. A-dev, mate, how could I have forgotten about perhaps the biggest Terminator fan on these forums.

Alright, so, mms352 is a nice figure but not really an OG T-800 replacement. How is the first 1/6 T-800 holding up, appearance and accuracy wise? Will have to do some research regarding mms129. But am not sure about its likeness.

What are your thoughts on the QS002 1/4 Endo. Worth getting?

If you just want something to represent a generic, original design endoskeleton, the 1/4 Endo is fine. There are tons of inaccuracies (some that can be pretty easily fixed), and it's more representative of a T2 endo than a T1 endo as it was marketed, but I think it's worth it. Especially if you already didn't know how different the Genesys endo was from the originals, you're probably not going to notice the small things that bug guys like me, P. and a-dev.

I'd say the biggest detractor from the piece is the horse teeth, as it's the most noticeable and eye catching.

The 1/4 endo goes for ridiculous prices, I'd save your money for something else. No way is it worth $800.

Who plans to make a custom? I think if you repaint the body of the old endо 1/6 in chrome and put head genesis version, it should work out well. I would like to see this. AqaE8aZNalo.jpg

What a cool figure. It pairs extremely well with the Chronicle 1:2 bust.

Would anyone know where I can get a 1/6th scale plasma rifle like the one that comes with the original endo? Even if it's not authentic hot toys.
I can't look at the gaudy electro-chainsaw that comes with this one anymore, it just doesn't look right.

There was a member on here who made the T2 style plasma rifle for this figure. Pro Design is his name. Hit him up and see what he's got.

Can't help but think it was a missed opportunity to make this figure die-cast, as it feels suiting. If I'm not mistaken, outside of the Iron Man figures, the only other die-cast figure is the Robocop.

Diecast would have been nice, but the big miss on this one is the scale, I really like the look of it, it has that badass factor, I have considered getting this more than a few times even though I would rather a T1 or T2 endo first, but as it stands I still haven't pulled the trigger.

By any chance could anyone compare this with the MMS33 Endoskeleton? I'm kinda eyeing that one since I prefer something in scale with the rest of the Terminator figures.

Exactly right. If this one was the proper scale, I think it would have sold out like hotcakes...
