They need to work on the area where the star was for the figure (It's far too big on the proto in the teaser pic), but at least there is already evidence of the "scale-mail" like battle-damage areas on the chest.

Is this the same outfit he wore in civil war, only "torn and worn" due to him being on the run?

Yup..also breaking ties to Stark and S.H.I.E.L.D. as well I’m sure . Hence the beard

So, considering AoU and CW were basicaly the same outfit, and now this one is the one from CW again, poor Steve doesn't get a new costume for a long time now...

In CW IMO..Steve was getting there already. If you look at how the suit looked in AoU to CW. not only was his suit dirtier but he got rid of the magnetic option on the suit. I think because of Bucky. Steve was slowly phasing out of S.H.I.E.L.D. technology and what went down with IM in CW that was the final nail in the coffin for Steve to rid himself of Stark technology. Now we got a Nomad style Cap.

Excited we'll get a bearded Cap, however, as everyone is saying, this image itself isn't even a proto. It's a placeholder image for an actual image teasing the new figure. We'll see this in 2020 and it will cost $270.

And I'm more than willing to give it if they finally make a new body that actually has Evans' physique ...

Oh who am I kidding ... I'll get it no matter what. Him and Buck. Acutally, I'm not sure who I'm more excited for. I wanna say Steve coz damn ... but then there's Buck and his new arm which is perfection so ...

I thought AOU HT Cap looked the best at capturing Evan’s physique. The boots made his legs seem buffer too .

I was watching Not Another Teen Movie the other night and I can’t believe both Evans and Chyler ended up in superhero environments on opposite brands ..who’d ever think this would happen, nor both would be equally popular among the fans.

I wonder why he still wears the harnesses (that looks like backpack straps) for the shield he no longer has?

I think Cap's top is actually two pieces, a vest like deal that goes over a shirt that has the arms and shoulder pieces sewn onto it. That's so that the actor can get good range of motion. Therefore the shoulder harness has the benefit of hiding the fact that the top is actually made up of separate pieces.

Elvis did this a few years back and I think it looks great. Maybe with the AOU gloves and boots and it would be perfect. (Sorry for the bad quality, the image doesn’t seem to be available anymore)

I happen to like the avengers 1 version, folowed by civil war, then stealth. The avengers 1 is ridiculous, but so is a guy dressed up in a spangly outfit to begin with.

I would like a Cap that doesn't look like he's got a box for a torso.

I think the problem is that the body is way too thick, and when you add the costume on it, you get a box.

I was just futzing my CW Cap and I was so frustrated by how hard it is to get him to look natural.

I happen to like the avengers 1 version, folowed by civil war, then stealth. The avengers 1 is ridiculous, but so is a guy dressed up in a spangly outfit to begin with.

The A1 outfit reads unapologetically like a superhero. The later more tactical costumes can feel almost like they're overcompensating, to me. I feel like they look better on-screen than as action figures, but that's just personal taste.

I like the take on the first Avengers suit being a literal costume just like the Star Spangled Man costume. SHIELD didn’t expect things to go bad, so Cap’s costume wasn’t meant for battle, it was just for show.
