By and far my favorite MCU Cap look.......the dollie from HT is a swing and a miss but still looks great in the collection. My fav HT dollie look is the concept version, totally BA.

SSC just emailed me that I can process the payment for this tomorrow and get it shipped. Still pretty excited for this figure (tho most on this forum do not seem to like it, that's ok) I just don't think I can take the hit, with the holidays right here I'm tapped out, but man I'd like to have this ship tomorrow.

I just received the same email. As I have 4-5 figures hitting in the Jan/Feb time frame, I opted for the early processing. But the clincher for me was gmoney's consistently high praise for the sculpt. With that kind of endorsement, I simply couldn't wait another two months!

Hahaha I know. I mean it's fine others ended up not being pleased with this, and that doesn't affect my overall excitement for the figure. It does however, kinda hamper my possible enjoyment of coming here to talk about the figure when so many keep posting how awful they think this is. Idk, I tend to not waste my time commenting on stuff I don't like and find it a waste of time to try and convince people that my opinion is correct. Ah I'm envious, really wish I could afford to ship this tomorrow but will have to wait. Hope yours arrives fast!

Really hoping this one goes to waitlist in the next couple of months. The conversation would change around the figure. It’s really well made after having seen reviews and pics.

this is def my favorite HT released this year. maybe i’m a biased cap fan, but seeing him in person & posing him many different ways, i’m really not bothered by any “likeness issues”. to me, it looks fine in person.
whoever does end up buying him, can’t speak for u all, but i imagine most of u guys won’t be disappointed!

I received mine yesterday and I absolutely love him! Only issue I have is that there is paint chipped off the back of his head... I know I'll never see it, but after spending the money, I want him perfect. I contacted sideshow, so I wonder if they get back to me and what steps will be taken.

It is 100% totally Chris Evans...those haters that say otherwise are just dumb!!! I already have mine, but love it so much that I ordered 5 MORE!!! Can't wait for SSC to ship to me!!!

Cap showed up a day before UPS said he would this week. I think he looks good. The suit is somewhat restrictive but workable. I got the promo version and damn if I don't want Corvus Glaive a little more now.

I snagged this one for below retail with a recent eBay coupon.

Got it in yesterday and opened it up today. The figure is awesome. The Wakanda shields are a pain to get on but once they are in place, it makes for great poses.

My Movie Promo edition shipped last night. Won't arrive until Jan. 2 however. I thought I'd get it by Monday 12/31, but apparently not. How many days is UPS taking off for Xmas/New Year's?

Only reason I got Hela in last night waz pathetically begging a UPS driver (working as an xtra in my area). She even knew I was due something but apparently it was 1) on the wrong truck; or 2) with the right person but on a truck across town; or 3) back at UPS and it was kind of foggy whether I could go and get it myself. Or not. She actually found my package and came back to deliver (amazing!!!!)

This time of year I didn't want my stuff floating around; as years back had had stuff outright stolen. (Like a box was opened, person took what they wanted; and re-sealed e.g. it was temp postal service staff, probably). Anyway driver said UPS is "slammed" but IMO so what, shippers are slammed every year. Amazon is getting stuff to me no problem.

UPS sez it's delivering on Saturday for now. Huh. I was royally po'd 'coz UPS own tracking said Hela was due Thurs. and it was just luck a driver stepped in late Friday. Imagine UPS isn't gonna get much time off re all the irritated customers wanting their LATE stuff and u can't even trust UPS own tracking info; they keep changing it when they don't deliver.

Yeah first I dropped the shield and hand trying to attach and then stabbed myself with the point of one. One was really easy and the other not so much.

But alas, it was all good in the end. The figure looks great. Hopefully we get the classic Cap look in A4 so I can pair the two up.
