This figure seems to be sold out most places but I managed to find one through Collector’s Outpost. Never used them before but I actually got a discount code from them and I’m getting the figure for $180 shipped. Pretty good deal.

Dunno. Guess we’ll find out. I couldn’t find much about them as a website to purchase from but apparently people seem to like their physical stores.

My Sideshow waitlist just converted. I am relieved! I had to pay an uncharge on the Clone Trooper, so I am glad I did not need to on this one.

I wonder when we’ll get more variants. Wouldn’t mind a standard Battle Droid but the Geonosis version is still cool. I also need to order a Super Battle Droid eventually.

Two Geonosis clankers and a Super will be a pretty good display along with Grievous. Wish I had gotten Dooku to go with the rest.

Dang, I hope I get a waitlist conversion. I think it would be cool to get a BF2 heavy Geonosis variant.

Yeah I think that’s a given which is great for Battle Droid/PT/TCW fans. Hot Toys loves repaints and it’s an easy figure to make variants of. With the lower price, they’re definitely going to repaint it at least several times to get more of a return out of it.

Next might be the standard tan color and OOM-9 for TPM 25th. Maybe with the brown STAP.

They could do Security, Pilot, Driver, Geonosis Commander, Jedi Survivor variants, R2-D2’s Battle Droid squad, etc. I’d laugh if they made a con exclusive Firefighter Droid; I’d actually like to see something unusual like that again.

Bring on the Battle Droids!

Man I love these, they should be cheaper but such a simple but effective design. Never liked how SS did their B1's.

Have 2 on order and I'll keep it that way, probably be persuaded to get more of the original Tan variants though.

It really does, but at least it’s removable. The other photographers should’ve done that for their pictures.

And you know Hot Toys doesn’t splurge on magnets whenever they can get away with it.

Wrong color for TPM, but they’ve had a prototype of the beige Battle Droid with STAP around for a while.

So you might get your wish soon; TPM anniversary is right around the corner.

I agree the 0’s are far more prominent but the 5’s don’t get ignored, especially nowadays.

Any excuse to sell more merchandise.

So TPM 25th might be a good an excuse as any to get the tan Battle Droid and STAP out, which will be released eventually either way.
