Snatch those VHS copies and hold them dear. They are relics of another time. That might be the last VHS version of the trilogy set to tape before the Lucas tinkering began. It's also the last way you're likely to see the original Fox fanfare with the simplified Lucasfilm logo...

After the 3 movies were over were you not sick anymore?

My uncle came through! I asked if he still had them and he said yeah, and decided to just give them to me. The set is in perfect condition too. Going to test out the tapes this weekend. Have to borrow a VCR haha. Haven't watched the trilogy in its original, unedited form in about 20 years.
