Hey this is off topic, but I just waitlisted a Hot Toy, and was wondering if anyone knows the chances of actually getting it? I don't know if thats rare or common and if anyone knows or has done this please lmk.

I waitlisted once but it was the second or third day the figure waitlisted and was able to get it. Not sure how it goes after a week or two.

For some reason this figure doesn't scream "buy me" to me. It's really nice and I like the character but I guess I'm not sure if I feel he's necessary for my collection. The only reason I kind of want him is to pose him with Jyn.

In my experience about %80 of my waitlisted items on SS have converted -- I know this won't be the case for everyone, but there's hope for you yet.

Do his eyes just look dead when they aren't lit? Do you think there will be an easy mod for this issue? It's the only thing preventing me from pulling the trigger on this guy.

Not that it's a deal breaker but why no connecting bar between the two eye pegs...would negate the futzing to get them aligned properly?

He'll have some pretty good shelf presence.

If the Death Star trooper comes with console you can also use this with K2 and a couple of troopers for a cool display.

I think I was about the same. It releases next month and I was going to order it either end of this week, or early next and I never thought it would sell out, but it did. I preordered The first or second day it went to waitlist, and now am just waiting. Hopefully it pulls through.

Out of curiosity how long does it generally take for it to convert to an order?
