During the wait for its third and final season in June, Hot Toys is exhilarating fans with a new 1/6th scale Seong Gi-hun collectible figure.

The highly accurate collectible figure is masterfully crafted based on the appearance of Lee Jung-jae as Seong Gi-hun in Squid Game, featuring a newly developed head sculpt with separate rolling eyeballs, and a newly designed body that is pulled together with a faithfully tailored Squid Game tracksuit with No. 456 embroidery and cross sign badge details. In addition to Seong Gi-hun, a series of accessories appears in the Squid Game is included: a USB-powered voting machine, a Piggybank, a mask accessory with square symbol, a six-legged pentathlon game set consisting of a pair of ankle cuffs, a pair of Ddakji, a pair of Biseokchigi, a set of Gonggi stones, a shuttlecock, a spinning top, and a special figure base designed to replicate the staircase setting.

Agreed. It reminds me of the 1/3 JND statue but shrunken down. They nailed this one.

The seamless ankle that they're doing is a nice touch as well.

The leg cuffs make me wonder if we’ll get any more figures. Storm Shadow (sorry, he’ll always be that to me) would probably sell decently from his popularity in Korea and would make for a natural pairing. The Front Man would also be good as well as the Officer and the guards. Surprised the third party companies haven’t jumped on all those beyond that first batch of guards that came out a few years ago.

Or even a season 1 option with the longer hair. The jacket would be slightly different too as I don’t believe they had the Velcro for the X’s and O’s but those seem like easy enough options they could have included for some added value. But I’m still very happy with what this is coming with and just hope this isn’t a one and done.

Not for me, but a really impressive looking figure. Great job on the headsculpt and hair detail/stranding. InArt needs to get this good at their hair sculpting technique. And as others have mentioned, the seamless ankle is a nice touch. With HT doing this after JND made theirs, I wonder if the same will happen when JND reveal their 1/3 Davy Jones

I can’t get over how great the sculpt on this is. It looks just like him and some of the photos I could almost mistake for promotional photos. One of Hot Toys’ best efforts in recent memory.

Very surprised to see this! I will be placing my order shortly. I really hope we get the front man 001, and it would be cool to have a deluxe option with the geometric mask and outfit. I would also love to see a 013 as a way to give us the pink jumpsuit and then have a masked and headsculpt for her.
