Hot toys up to their old tricks. Give a figure a ugly exposed neck joint then carefully only publish pictures of it from the front so people don't see the ugly joint.

Meh. I'm TM Boba Fett'd out before his show's even started. Matrix is out today, HT tease Matrix figures and they release Fennec. Sounds about right.

I reckon this settles it for me then, gonna have to grab that Boba repaint with the throne - I’ve already got the battle damaged/wanderer set on pre. Gonna have to start taking on bounties myself to pay for all these Star Wars toys lol

Rumor has it this guy is looking for an apprentice...

Headsculpt does look amazing, but I guess that is to be expected. If Hot Toys should be able to get anyone right it's a female asian.

I like they also added the Spotschka bottle, and the small dart from the gun which she uses in the trailer.

Only issue I have (as others have) is the hair. It's a bit too red, but hopefully they will fix that as it's only paint colour.

I just hope the skirt pieces with the orange lapels hang well. I have Lando's cape in mind there....

I think it might be fine. It looks brighter or darker in some scenes, I’d just put it down to colour grading.

I’m curious if the pony tail will be wired. Every pic though has it over her shoulder like it doesn’t move, but then there’s one headshot of her with the braid down her back
Interesting. Perhaps it will be 2 plug in pieces ? They'll need to do something for the helmet with removable hair anyway.

Buying both figures is a requirement, full stop. That would be like having Spongebob without Patrick. Y'got to do it.

Its one reason I was so anxious about this release, because without Fennec the throne release is actually incomplete.
Yeah I pulled the trigger. Now to wait on the show version of Boba. And anyone else lol

Looks like helmet parts has some motion. The eye section width varies between shots.

I don't think I have any attachment to any of the new characters in The Mandalorian. For years I've been telling myself to stick to the classics, to characters created in the '70s and '80s, because the owners aren't going to stop creating new ones.

It was too tough to stick to the rule, but I'm drawing a line in the sand now. lol

As good as she looks, Fennec isn't saying 'buy me'.
Same here Asta. I have a select few mandalorian figures and I’m holding off on more, mostly do to space and the sheer amount of figures. I like the show and the figures are awesome, but do I need them all? As of right now, this is a no for me, even though it looks great. If she is great in the show and the show is good, maybe. I really only want ot figures so I’m perpetually disappointed.

I liked the show too, along with Rogue One and Solo, but there's just so much Star Wars now that it's getting silly. I know by the time of The Empire Strike Back Lucas was probably looking at merchandising possibilities with every new trooper design or hero outfit, but back then it was manageable, and it was the classic era itself.

They also stopped for a decade after 1985. :lol

The figures are great, and I like having them on display, but they don't actually hold any meaning. Buying some of them has become more for the sake of it rather than out of any real love for the characters.

I still have a load on pre-order, because one always leads to the next until you break the cycle. I haven't even been following the BoBF thread fully, or watching any new trailers. Haven't even properly read the spoilers chrisstruthers posted!

My interests have been changing lately too, and I'm actually more interested in historical figures, and westerns, or just properties other than new Star Wars. lol

This is a figure that I want to pair up with Boba. So far, it looks to be the only one I'll need to do that.

While I did order all of the Trooper variants, I passed on some figures that many would consider "required for a proper Mando collection", such as the Armorer and Heavy Mando, which while cool, I just don't need them. On the other hand, I've been going back and forth with the Death Watch figure...

Its just that there are now a ton of other non-Star Wars related figures being released, that I would rather throw my hobby funds towards. OT still wins, though.
