Paid for my Aug Paul yesterday. I plan to buy both Aug and IA versions of this figure to give myself two different display options. I enjoyed the movie immensely and totally bought into its world-building, so I want this character in 1:6 form and I'll buy any well made version of it. I even bought Aug's fugly ceremonial suit Paul last year just to have a Dune figure in my collection.

Even though IA is a clearly better figure Aug is no slouch either, and they really are two different things - IA being a tiered up artisan upgrade of what Aug did extremely well in a regular release. I have to respect Aug for pulling this figure together so well considering they're practically a no-name brand with no track record and only this one Dune license keeping them afloat.* It seems like they just spent the past two years with their nose buried in their work quietly refining their craft to deliver a figure that is as good as anything the top players in the industry would make.

* Note: To be fair, I'm convinced Aug is actually some other relatively well known 1:6 maker we've seen before with some years of practice in this industry, but they're just hiding under this name for the Dune license. I don't know why, I can't prove this in any way, nor can I claim to know who they are, but I can't imagine why a company would mount itself just for one license, do almost no self-promotion, produce only four figures and then go comatose in the industry. I feel like Aug is someone we've purchased from before, but we just don't know it.

Not sure if this video has been posted but this guy modified the body on his and weathered the stillsuit, to great results imo

I did but I still don't know how he take out the stillsuit

If it's as hard as a dark knight batman suit then probably I'm not gonna try it😥
