This armour being different from Mando season 2 repainted version; different paint, scratches and damage, different undersuit etc
So somewhere between taking the throne at the end of Mando season 2 and the start of BoBF, Boba repaints his armour, mounts it on a new undersuit, then gets into some kind of battle/adventure that results in damage and chips to the paint on his armour, including that "cut" scratch across the right side of his helmet.
I'd rather watch that sequence/explanation than the BoBF we got.

His s*** is very, very tight with this armor kit and I am not even gonna lie. *helmet nod* Love these series or hate them, one cannot deny that these costumers are excellent at what they do. We have come a long way from the Seventies and it shows.

Yep, the precious armour he got from his dad.... that looks like it's been reforged and different each time we see it.

I admittedly do love the Hammer pants tho, not even gonna lie.

Finally preordered it. Will probably still keep Mando S2 repaint version but I definitley prefer this version.

Jetpack action will never not look goofy in live action. Change my mind.

Jango's jetpack scenes looked legit during AOTC. Can't think of anything else really.

In my mind ,Boba Fett will forever be the cool,mysterious guy hidden under the helmet. the show didn’t change that for me at all. Therefore,I won’t need a head sculpt as well

Boba as we see in BOBF had a posttraumatic stress disorder following Sarlac incident. He will return to standard, cool and ruthless Boba beloved by everyone once he overcomes that stress disorder.
