I'd love a black suit version. Esp the one from S3 with the different head wrap where a bit of white/grey pokes out and the muay thai hand ropes. Been on my mind for a while. Would be a killer figure

Just picked this guy up still sealed for $250 off of evilBay. Not trying to resurrect a dead thread but what are some of the best mods to get him looking better out of the box. Also has anyone ever touched up the battle damage portrait so the blood on the mouth actually looks like it is coming out of the corner of his mouth? About to take a deep dive in this thread.

I think ppl padded him out. I couldn't figure out how to safely do that... I did pop his neck up a lil to give him a better look. Other than that, hes been in the box. Hes one of the unfortunate figures that didnt make the cut on my limited shelf space.

DD arrived today and out of the box I was expecting a slight train wreck but was pleasantly surprised. I did mod the neck and put in a spacer and then glued the plug back into place which gave the head the extra length/height too. I do have an extra Deadpool 2 body and was tempted to do a body swap, but instead used some dense foam make-up sponges and padded the shoulders and chest. Lastly I mixed up some blood paint (red gloss, black, burnt umber) and fixed the gap between the lower mouth and lip to the wound. I went ahead and extended the damage from the corner of the mouth and also let the nose bleed continue down as well. After it dried I hit with a little Future Floor wax so it would have that wet look and after about 30-45 minutes of futzing I was pretty pleased with everything. I totally respect those that did the body swap, but after read this thread as heavy as I did last night everyone spoke of how difficult it was to take off and put on and how it stretched the suit. Since this is an older piece and my sewing skills are for [emoji90] I did not want to tear anything and have to put those skills to the test on some rubbery vinyl type material. Now if I could find a Punisher for the $250 I paid for DD I would be thrilled.
Take care and Happy Holidays everyone.

I think I remember reading some people swapped the body, for a Deadpool body if I remember right that made it look a little better.

Nice job on the neck. There's a video on YouTube that has 100 poses for this figure. I've tried a bunch of them with a non modded body and they usually work quite well. He's a better figure than a lot of people give him credit for. Check out that video before you mod him.

Agree. I have pushed and pushed this figure into some amazing poses with no mods. I have been reading Miller?s original run on DD and taking screen shots of poses I like and then doing those poses. When I get a chance I will put up some photos.

Yeah, sometimes you have to be a little rough with him, but DD can take it. Highly underrated figure. Looking forward to those pics.

Nice photos!! I like the extra blood you added, DD gets really injured in the show.

Yeah I have to agree totally underrated figure. My mods were limited to the neck, padded the chest and shoulders, and the extra blood on the ?fight? face. I truly love this guy. I missed the Hot Toys Punisher but recently picked up the ?Stealth Frank? kit which will make for an awesome shelf with both of them on it. Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas.
