I’m not buying that Aragorn broke. Look at how they’ve designed the packaging for Joker- InArt know how to protect these things and everything else made it unharmed…

They pulled Aragorn because people have been pointing out the inaccuracies and they probably realised that the cosplayer costume they’ve been using as reference isn’t actually screen accurate so need to go back to the drawing board.

It baffles me how they screwed the Ranger sword up on an officially licensed product. Would they not have access to Weta’s own reference material?

InArt is on a slippery slope. Every time they tell us something, it turns out to be a half truth or a pile of bull. They need to stop
making empty promises and starting meaningless polls and only issue statements when they’re confirmed to be able to follow through. They keep giving us reasons to be disappointed that otherwise wouldn’t exist if they’d just keep their mouths shut.
I 100% agree. They have been slipping and it makes me worried

I vividly remember my first week in my brand new fully inspected $700k home when the toilet pipe burst inside the ceiling wall above my new kitchen.

At least with Inart I can just get a refund that new flooded kitchen got no such thing from the builder or insurance lol

Imagine if they pull out like Molecule and only a handful of people get their figure. How much would it be worth then?

Really you think on a shelf that single inaccurate proportion is enough to ruin an otherwise spectacular collectible?

So all the tailoring, innovations, accessories, posing, colors, hair, life like face, seamless arms are all ruined because the head is slightly off scale?

Slightly which means can easily be fixed by posing, settings and lighting.

All ruined?

If the problem is the price for the double pack may I suggest one less cup of coffee per day lol

You should see my Hulkbuster he can’t do any busting and his massive LED array of lights are useless!!!

Love him dearly zero regrets!

Look at Commander Cody everyone wants one yet he is 100 sandwiches short of anorexia.

My point is you live with imperfections when you own the best one out there.
The head sculpt was one of the top selling points of this figure. Who are you trying to kid? :lol

We're getting Jokors then. 🤣

I do wonder what strings one had to pull to be able to get a review copy of Jokor and Botmon. I would have preferred for somebody else to do a first look review and this makes it all puzzling with TW involved.

My biggest gripe with every 1/6 Joker release is how puffy and lumpy the overcoat looks at that scale. In the picture comparison below it’s such an eyesore. In HT and InArt’s defense I think it’d be impossible to craft all those layers of fabric at 1/6 scale on not have it look lumpy. But it just doesn’t match the way Ledger’s suit hung on his lanky frame. I’ll be displaying mine interrogation room style sans coats.

Looks decent not blow away though, the sculpted hair looks a bit meh and its the one I ordered.

Yeah, I don’t think InArt met their promise of “exceeding prototypes”, but it’s still hands-down the best mass-produced Heath Ledger we’ll likely ever get.

Some areas definitely took hits detail-wise, notably the eyelids and possibly where the rooted hair meets the scalp, but it’s no worse than the drop in quality Hot Toys figures suffer from prototypes to final products.

I’m still more than happy to receive this thing.
I don't think that was ever going to happen to begin with. No company will ever truly match their one off prototypes to 100% unfornately. It's just not possible with mass production. As long as Inart can be within the 85-90% range, it’s good for me. Or at least be within the range that Hot Toys figures have downgrades since their production quality is top tier.

This has been a problem even in the custom scene. Multiple $600+ custom outfit runs and they all come out looking like shower robes.

Inart is actually one of the betters ones I’ve seen where the jacket lapel is nice and thin. I don’t think there’s a way to capture his jacket in 1/6 scale, or at least artists have yet to find the right material for it.

Yeah that’s why I went in more on the quarter scale version. The clothes, especially dad toys coat, just look more natural and slender. But I ordered the InArt regardless

You all do know actual spaceships and houses are much more complex than any action figure right? Like those are not like comparisons at all.

It only takes one person screwing up in one minor way for a space shuttle launch to go wrong or a pipe to burst.

To get the size of a toy’s head wrong at this price requires multiple people to look at it and go “good enough”.

I don't know much about or really care about Danoby, but seeing him put a beer on the table with the prototype was pretty disrespectful.

You don't like it whatever, but guess what you accepted the invite. Show some damn class. Either he was doing it intentionally and he's a dick head or he didn't think anything of it and he's a dull dick head.
