Maan. I knew this was gonna happen to someone I knew it

Idk what if the white is a different lightness or comes out too glossy. For somebody who has no experience to paint it is still very very stressful to do something like this on your $1000 dollThankfully, an easy fix with white paint.
Call me crazy but I don’t think you should have to touch up the paint damage on your $1000 figure
Are those actually yours?
Yep. The first two items I took out of the box. This package actually came a day early and I was psyched because its still the weekend and I have time to unbox and enjoy. Sure, I hear you about the white paint touch up, but this dampens my experience. I've modified plenty of figures, a lot of them with paint, but this is the most money I've ever dropped on a single release. Ya know? I'm not jumping off the handle or anything. I know mistakes are bound to happen with every release, but man.....
Long term support options are really what’s missing from this hobby and what keeps me from calling figures luxury items.Call me crazy but I don’t think you should have to touch up the paint damage on your $1000 figure
I won't say your completely right but your not wrong. Although Kit is the best you got for helping with any issues it's only what he is able to help with. If Inart doesn't want to help then the retailer you bought from can't do much in the end. And that sucks for us living in the states as it will be harder to fix any future issues with their figures going forward. Just imagine the QC issues these will have if not checked properly before release.Long term support options are really what’s missing from this hobby and what keeps me from calling figures luxury items.
If you damage a fine watch, luxury car, or even luxury shoes the brand usually has paid repair/replacement/resole options.
With Hot Toys, and I worry with InArt too, you basically have a return window and that’s it. And that’s only if you buy through Sideshow or some authorized retailer. With InArt legally only being for Asian markets, it puts us in the US in murky territory for support.
Agreed. It's got to be disheartening to say the least. I can't imagine my own disappointment if that happens with mine.
InArt has a lot to learn from this first figure. Too bad the experiments had to be on such a highly sought after, iconic character.
Ironically, you have people here already buying new clothes and hunting for new sculpts... for their $1,000 figure.
I'll post my thoughts later this afternoon.
I'd say this is a home run.
Yahoo!!! I feel better, and more anxious, then ever now.
I love that you don't see the snaps of the vest at all. That used to really get on my nerves
Yeah, I hate that too. Little black snap peeking out! No!
Considering they are shipping in batches I imagine they do not have extras ready to go. I think they are still catching up to ordersDefinitely should not have to "fix" your $1000 figure -- but if you do, at least the white face is easier to fix than flesh colored skin.
I do wonder how many "extra heads" InArt prepared for this type of issue? And if they will provide a "mail back" box to retrieve their damaged head?
Please don't refer to our collectible figures as dolls. Every time I see/hear them called dolls I feel like my genitalia shrinks 1/16th of an inch. I don't have much length to spare.I'm guessing they look great in hand. Which is all that matters... except for those who like taking macro pictures of their dolls.
