About three months in and my Joker is still standing without issue on his magnetic base.

I assume those that had issues must have a base with weak magnets or user error.

Joker looks pretty real when he's clapping.
Imagine when they get real enough to do that. You get up in the morning and they all have their faces pressed against the glass, asking if you want to know how they got their scars.

First animatronic six scale I'm buying is Hannibal Lecter.

Ooh, you could have sadistic death matches too.

In the red corner we have Jason Voorhees, and in the blue we have Chunk from the Goonies. FIGHT!

I've actually had some issues with my Joker falling over.

I display all my figures without stands, have been doing so for 10+ years. My collection room is on the top floor of our house. The climate in the Netherlands is usually rather mild, but in spring and summer it sometimes gets hot for a bit.

About two weeks ago when it got around 30° Celcius/90° Fahrenheit in the room, I found Joker on his face the next morning. All other figures were fine, and Joker had been standing in the same pose for 1-2 months.
So it might be a combination of factors: the shoe shape, the ankles (which might get softer when it's warmer), and of course still user error. Plus some poses are simply more stable than others.

I put him in a more stable pose now and do extra "topple checks" after reposing him.

It’s also just the nature of Joker’s shoes since they curve upward at the toes. So, it has a natural inclination to tip forward unless you get the pose just right.

The kid in me likes magnets. They’re sort of fun in a simple kind of way. But when it comes to these figures, I just don’t trust them. Maybe Gandalf will change my mind when he arrives and if there’s any improvements made over the Joker’s magnetic feet and stand. But as of right now, I won’t be using the included stand

A little AI chip inside each figure would allow them to sound like their character and have a comparable attitude.

Lector's smugness would be awesome.

My favorite would be Quint

Quint: Hey Chief, let's go sharkin'

Me: Not today Quint.

Quint: You got city hands.
I'd put a couple of Hot Toys xenomorphs in a detolf next to another one with Hicks and Hudson.

Hicks: Seventeen days.

Hudson: Seventeen *days*? Hey man, I don't wanna rain on your parade, but we're not gonna last seventeen hours! Those things are gonna come in here just like they did before.

There seems to be some debate about that on the internet.

Personally, for me, Gandalf the Grey died killing the Balrog. Like one would say, Vader died killing the Emperor.

Not sure how there can be. You literally see Gandalf looking over the cliff to make sure the Balrog is dead before he turns over and then dies :dunno

Not true. He's actually crawling face down on the ice, not looking, and rolls over to die before he reaches the edge.

Are you counting who's heart stops first or something? I don't understand how you can say Gandalf won? Defeated, I suppose... but not a win.
