Here is my second head painting ever...first of Indy. Not quite done yet as I have some touch up to do but worth showing for some critiques I guess.

First his right eye looked too big so I made it smaller and now the left looks too big but it isn't as noticeable in person. Eyes are probably a little too bright but it still looks miles better than the factory paint.

Just got a Seb customized Indiana Jones with the PF sculpt, wow, just wow! Thanks Koen! Hope the pics can do some justice, it's like having a mini Harrison Ford in the house. Hope you all like.

I absolutely love Trev's PF sculpt but to me, something in that reduction process lost the spark of the sculpt. Doesn't look like Indy or HF to me. Love the custom though!

I think it looks like Indy/HF but I agree that something looks a little off. I think the hat maybe? Brim looks a little to "flat" to me. Also, there appears to be something amiss with his right eye, like excess material from the mold or something.

Don't get me wrong though, it's a fabulous looking custom...great job! Love the paintwork and weathering. The jacket looks great! Is that the Relic Hunter pistol? I love that thing, even though it is a little on the large side.

It's interesting, optically. I may have made the brim too thin and that might be causing one's eye to find further faults. I think it scaled down quite well and with little to no distortion in the face. At the time, I thought the chin might've been too big but this was proven to not be the case in the context of the figure.

Alright, I think I'm happy with my ROTLA Indy. I placed him on a soldier story body and repainted the head and painted the neck to match and weathered the clothes.

Indy is back. The Triad Environment Mayan base works nicely. Planning on creating a detailed jungle diorama with it but want to weather it a bit. Pics coming soon.

Looking good!

I trust Triad's environments and props are better than their figures!?

CHEERS!

For your second repaint that is amazing well done. I think its pretty bang on.

Very nice indeed!

I'm holding off on finishing my Indy till the DX is out, just to see how much better mine is!

CHEERS!

PS (The jacket collar looks so much better if you unpick the stitches holding the collar tips down.)
